Loved it.. This is a really good Season 5 opener!! Cool for Kristen for going a first date.. Poor Emily!! I used to be a big supporter of Darcy and Steph getting back together but now, i realized i really hope Steph gets back with Emily... I really think they are a better couple.. I love the show. I think the exploration of issues, and character development are superb. I feel that I am at a point where I am okay however and whoever ends up with each other... But. I really think that Steph truly loves Darcy, and I am not sure if she can love Emily the same way. I am basing these of course with how Steph seems to always be at Darcy's side after everything. Whatever is holding Steph back from getting back together with Darcy is an issue between the two of them, and not an attraction she is feeling towards someone else. It really seems to me as though Emily will always be second best for Steph -- not even once have I seen Steph chase after Emily when Darcy is around. But just the same, I love the show and I hope that it would continue for many more seasons!

I've been wondering the same thing for 4 seasons now. And it's not only her phone bill, but also the drinks at the bar, even the trip to China, she mentioned, after leaving Steph... Maybe it's her dad paying for it? He seemed busy when she called her in the last season; which might indicate he's a successful businessman or something. And also her mom told her that he wasn't home, first thing when she saw her, which might indicate Darcy might go ask for his help when she's in trouble, at least financially speaking. But those are all my conjectures.
