A drop in oil pressure psi from 60 to 30 for a split second does not automatically equate engine damage.

Serious talk why can't we get the GR Corolla? The dealership are Marking them up to much. And they are probably not selling well. Then you guys will discontinue it because it didn't have enough demand. 😑 because of greedy dealers/scalpers.

RTV has nothing to do with the failing engines. It's oil starvation during right turns. I heard that these kids (was this race series supposed to be only for kids??) have been blowing up tons of engines every race weekend. And these cars already have some kind of baffle setup. Hopefully Toyota/Subaru figure out a solution soon, and it makes it into production and can be applied to prior MY cars via a TSB. I'm due to go to VIR in October and I'm not gonna lie, I'm reluctant to go back to the track knowing what I know now.

@@johnjfrederick To my knowledge no one have blown a stock GR86 due to oil starvation. A lot of BS on the internet but no real proof I own two gen of the 86 both stock Both have track days and have not damage an engine so far. Nobody have proof that the RTV is causing engine failure either.
