I'm shocked that this tutorial shared more useful information about leatherworking than most of the intro to leatherworking videos I've stumbled upon by dedicated leatherworking channels. I've also never felt more solidarity with Jason than when he refused to participate in the tongue twister shinnangans.

I've once heard that if you want to learn something in person, you should consult a master of their craft, so that they can give you tips on every challenge you might encounter, however with tutorials online it's best to see another beginner do it, because they'll most likely encounter the same problem as you and have a solution that is understandable for beginners as well

Im a leatherworker and you absolutely can use scissors (good ones) This hobby is full of old fashioned people who hate any innovation. I met one once who was opposed to stitching chisels, he felt every stitch hole should by punched 1 at a time with an awl... he was also a judge for state wide contests and openly admitted that any piece that did not have awl marks was ineligible for prizes. Its a great hobby, but beware of the Luddites.

I'm both impressed and terrified with all of the tongue-twisting rhymes at the beginning from all involved. If anyone could shed light on just what the heck both Brian and CJ said as well as what Jason said (i.e. what it's from, what it's called, what the words are, etc.) it would be much appreciated. Truly one of the few times that my young age of 21 has me truly stumped in regard to the references/jokes on this channel.

What a to do to die today at a minute or two to two. A terrible difficult thing to say, but harder still to do. For they'll beat a tattoo at a quarter to two, a rat a tat tat and a tat a tattoo. And the dragon will come when he hears the drum at a minute or two to two today, at a minute or two to two.
@lykonic1763 Жыл бұрын
@@leestons Wow, okay, the fact they were able to do this flawlessly in unison just got a lot scarier seeing just how hard it would even be to memorize that. What is it from? I figured out that Jason's little rhyme is actually from the REM song It's The End Of The World As We Know It (shame me all y'all want but I've never actually heard more than the chorus of that song lol), but I don't imagine that "Minute Or Two Till Two" rhyme is from a song.
