what i can tell is that thing is pretty easy to get it going again~~it's a relatively simple L-jetronic system and just make sure the AFM wasnt jammed and replace the fuel pump and check the ignition system then youre good to go.mine has run for 41 years and still going strong.

Love this kind of content. I enjoy all the Nürburgring trips and other things we typically see on the main channel, but I think we need more of this fixing up old abandoned cars, with a low key vibe. It's so nice watching the process of giving an abandoned gem like that 7 series a new lease of life. I understand the big deal stuff gets more clicks, but I believe I'm right in saying this is exactly what the true fans want!

Taylor, when doing voice over, please check the quality of the mic you're using. Big difference in quality between when you're on screen with the collar mic (good clear sound) and offscreen voice overing (muffled 28 bit noise)

I went to the London motor show as a child in the 70,s and my dad nearly bought one of these! I still have the original BMW brochure along with Mercedes brochures and also various BL brochures from there. I’m now nearly 60! All brochures are just about mint as well.

Yeah, about those tires, they are the special Michelin TRX tires, they where made for high performance cars (think ferrari, lambos, fast bimmers and mercs, but also the Citroen CX GTI) they made those tires not in inch sizes, but in mm sizes, (for example, not a 15 inch rim but a 390mm rim, witch is about 15.3 inches). They started making these tires again, but they are idioticly expensive. (£400 a pop) But they drive fantastic with new ones

Hanging out to see that Undertray :-) I have a few cars............ Well more than a few, Mainly Euros and mostly outside and 90% of them a runners, Pro tip. Store cars with the Bonnet up 8 or so inches, Keeps vermin from nesting in the bay and I also Pop a bait block on the drivers floor and in the engine bay and I check them a few times a year when I fire the cars up and run them, through a few heat cycles.

Rear nearside tire, Michelin MXV, had these on the back of my 1980 Auto 728i in 1990, 195/70/14's trying to lay down 180bhp-ish and 170ilbs plus of torque, I spent more time looking out the side windows than the front screen.
