This isn’t exactly related to the video but I wanted some advice if possible? I’m a first year (just finished first year) kinesiology student and though it was at the back of my head for a while I mainly recently started wanted to go to med school a lot. My first semester work habits weren’t extremely poor and I hit a low point first semester earning a 3.25 gpa. This semester though my habits grew drastically better with my aspirations, it still wasn’t enough to fix my GPA from last semester as I still did slightly below expectation in a few classes. Overall this first year was well below standard, especially for med schools. I just feel really discouraged now and don’t know what to expect realistically so I wanted to get your input Sebastian, since you seem really wise and with something positive to always offer.

Most med schools weigh your GPA by year so that 2nd and 3rd-year count more than first year. That means you can still get a good overall GPA even if you're first year marks were low by doing well in 2nd and 3rd year, so don't lose hope! Keep developing good habits and making slow improvements, best of luck 😊
