I really wanted to pursue medicine because it really fascinates me about how diverse and complex the field is-but I'm still on the process of getting my Chemical Engineer license (crossed-fingers) this year. I just hope I still have the curiosity and fascination to pursue it later on. I never sat the MCAT before, but one of the most important things I wish I knew was the length of time that the journey will take. There isn't a specific end goal (like getting into med school/graduating) but rather your end goal is one that constantly changes throughout your life. You need to love the process, not the trophies you achieve along the way, and have fun with it. Don't compare yourself to other people on their journeys. Hope that helps :))
