what a wonderful and authentic snippet of a writer's life. i was so touched by hearing about your doubts. 💛 it won't help much, but your book sounds so lovely, and of course there's a market for it. I'm a firm believer that readers are just as diverse as writer's fantasies are ☺

Around the six minute mark you talk about not knowing what to expect when you go into each chapter, and you feel like you get a momentum, but then the next chapter could be a heavy rewrite, that exactly encapsulates how it’s been doing my first major revision. Well stated!!

@@AnnaRobbinsWrites GOOD cause I never know what to say and always worry I’m being awkward, so hey, I’m glad to hear that! 😭💖 I played a bard on my first playthrough and I think it’s probably my favorite class! So many funny dialogue options and I love the versatility when it comes to combat. I haven’t finished a playthrough with a monk yet, but they seem AWESOME. And my characters may or may not always end up being BFFs (and occasionally girlfriends) with Lae’zel because I just love her too much 😂 What about you?

Loved this vlog, Anna! The vulnerability and honesty, the little message of hope at the end... if I could, I'd sedate those voices of doubt and anxiety with some good old big game tranquilizer. There is definitely a market for GGG! And the denim and embroidery shirt was giving real yeehaw (affectionate). Loved it! When you're at the 20-minute mark trying to describe your fears, what it sounds like is that you sort of feel vulnerable wearing your heart on your sleeve in the way you've told this story. Would that be accurate? Regardless of that, happy 14 out of 36 to you. 💙

It's from Amazon! If you search "wireless lapel mic" you'll find lots of options, though admittedly, this one is kinda cheap and doesn't sound great when clipped to my lapel--hence why I hold it closer to my mouth most of the time 😵‍💫
