Ooooh I love the little stats page that campfire shows you! Always here for time-stats 😍 I just checked my own stats cause I was curious and I'm 30ish hours into draft 5 and it feels like I'm maybe 30-40% done with the edits I wanted to make, so 70 hours sounds like a reasonable number to me! So damn excited to get my hands on this book soon! I'm so honoured you're trusting me with your book baby and I can't wait to dive into this story 🥰💖💕

Shout out to the big chicken! lol. my favorite cook out shake flavor is banana pudding. it's literally the only one i've gotten in the last like 9 years. Purple is also my go to writing color! I always have a productive session when I set my keyboard to purple. Congrats on finishing this draft!! Now you can play BG3 with no compunction!

(Btw, if you need any more Beta readers, I know quite a few folks who are avid fantasy readers and would enjoy discussing your work with you.) I just got "A Rival Most Vial" on Kindle. I will start it after I finish the fantasy series I am currently reading. :-) I did not realize how creative the process of language teaching was until I started watching your v-logs and unexpectedly found them relatable to my work. I consider building the online courses I teach to be easier than writing a novel, but I do see parallels. Every semester, I start a new round of revisions. I think about how the parts relate to each other, and scan it critically to see if there are any bits that are superfluous and not contributing to the overall goal of the course that I need to delete, change, or put in a different place. I incorporate feedback from my own beta readers (a.k.a. my students) and tweak the course accordingly.

5:30 What is that drink you're having?? 7:42 is my face at any prospect of sending things out to betas. Maybe that's why I haven't beta'd in a while. Your recovery from the brain fry is something I of course root for. The signs are pointing to a promising place, since I am seeing the happy. You have again found the happy. The switching of file formats is always one of the scary parts, mainly because the copying process swallows up a lot of storage space on your device until it does the automated data crunch. (At least that's what it appears to do to a tech-illiterate type goblin like me.) Sorry to hear PDF and EPUB were your options.
