To find the fish buried in the sand, dig your hand into the sand until your palm is on or near the bottom, spread your fingers, the gently brush your hands back and forth as you slowly move forward. That should disturb any hiding fish without hurting them.

Paul when you are filling up the pond take a shop vacuum and a long hose to suck the air out from under the rocks the water will fill in the empty space where the air was

Hey Paul, I think you should keep a count of each kind of fish in each tank so that you can figure out if any of your smaller fish have died or are missing/hiding for future records. It would be helpful when you’re moving fish from tank to tank. Love the content! Been here for a long time. Keep going❤

You should drill holes in the tops of the hollow rocks. That way the air can escape and it will fill with water instead of being an air pocket.

Absolutely hooked on your videos, the ponds are insane! 😵 Tip: If you strain your frozen food and rinse with tank water before adding it to the pond your water quality will be better, no phosphate = no algae.

What about switching out the brown rock to the dark coffee bean pebbles in the windows? It might make it pop! I'm so excited for the salt water truck to come. The pond is different but not less incredible then the reef. I'm just amazed by it all! Paul, thanks for taking us along. Peace.

you should definitely put mirrors behind the rock feature to give the pond more depth and then that way if those eels are back there, you can see them it’ll help reflect the light and everything they plastic mirrors

hey paul, you might want to drill holes into those cast rocks, that way the air pockets dont cause it to become unstable and easy to knock over. and FLAME ANGEL! but with that big doughnut on top, you dont want air to cause it to become lopsided and fall so a couple 1/4in holes through them would helpe the air drain out, also you could sneak air lines under the sand and have bubbles come up in various spots to simulate underwater air pockets, just an idea. oh yeah and FLAME ANGEL!

Wait a sec Paul as a south florida Native since 83 when I was Hatched LoL What winter I remember Hurricane Andrew in the early 90's but living in the north east now I can say Florida has no winter at least South Florida Dade Broward Palm beach County's and further south towards the Keys now living in the North East I can say I enjoy the summers here more then Back in South Florida the Humditity here is not as High. Still Florida being the state I was born it will hold a special place in my heart... I remember when Andrew hit we lived right on the Dade and Broward County line we got some of the Hurricane but nothing like Homestead did...
