*Good evening* Chris, Alex , Preferred and Emperor 💪🏻💪🏻 Being self employed seems like a great idea but when you've been used to being paid monthly , your holidays covered , sickness ...when you go self employed you soon realise it's bloody hard out there ! Jobs being cancelled and trades just not turning up and no pay for that day plus add the weather . ..it's a bloody harsh environment. That toilet roll in your Rangey Chris would have been worth £50 during the plandemic! *Greenbank* - really coming along so quickly now...... *New project* - The Christie - driven past there a few times going for my appointments. It's a lovely affluent area and the little interesting food places and decent pubs it's definitely a place on the up. Definitely need a brand new sign mate ....the queues along that road you will get plenty of advertising! *Workshop* - An Aladdin's cave of goodies ! *OMFG thank you for the happy birthday message* ...that was so lovely and really appreciated..... Thanks again 🙏 See you Sunday peeps .... Gary 🙏

Mate, cover ur ass, PPE, no fall barriers ( can even use wood) No signage on fencing. Is that fire exit doors from the other properties going into the site ? Has the site been cat scanned and scanned every few hundred mm? Shocksafe shovels if digging near cables . Welfare facilitys? Don’t take this negativity cos I want u guys to do well and I’d hate for you to get in shit for Health and safety! Keep up the good work from one builder to another ❤

Hi, your new site, no site signage, hardhats,etc etc. .. and I am not being a Karen..... Remember... The highest standard that you are prepared to except is the highest standard you will ever achieve🤔.

We’ve addressed this today. You’re 100% right. Not good enough by us

What do you mean, see which ones you will and won't pay? The best businesses I deal with don't buy or contract unless they can afford it, the worst businesses order, consume and enjoy whatever they have ordered and hope they get enough in to pay them, why should your suppliers fund your next project? You'll think differently when a company uses your money to fund their next money making venture and goes bump! If you were that confident you'd PG yourself up to the most you can get and work within those parameters, but no, others peoples money is cheaper . rant over

I PG every account

Everyone gets paid it’s just about managing cashflow. Been at it 15 years so must be doing something right
@emperor_propertyАй бұрын
You have miss understood the context here, cashflow in any business changes on a monthly basis. You rely on your customers to pay you just as much as your suppliers rely on you to be paid. Payment arrangements differ from job to job, but most suppliers are end of month payment terms. Christmas is round the corner and all customers stop paying as the job shut down for 2 weeks. Suppliers still require payment along with all direct debits, etc…(Fixed company overheads) Week to week we pay 70-100k out, if one or 2 customers are slow at paying or are late. Which happens a lot. We therefore need to slow pay our suppliers. No companies who are trying to grow and scale their business have all the money in the bank to cover the whole project/work load of future jobs. They all use credit from suppliers to leverage their position. All tier 1 contractors have some of the longest payments terms with subcontractors/suppliers 60days. They get paid by their customers much earlier than this. We pay all our guys/ subbies with one week in hand. Not 60 days. And before our customers have paid us. And as Chris said we PG everything on account.

And to add one last thing, all our customers who are property developers use us to fund their projects and pay us when they get paid from the bank who are funding the project for them. We basically fund/bridge the gap until they are paid, to then pay us. They don’t have the money in the bank for the whole project they use the bank for leverage. And leverage of us in the short term. It’s how businesses work.
