When I had my first long range rifle built 14 years ago I had it built in 300RUM to hunt elk. Shortly after I started shooting it I was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease and, due to tremors, I almost quit learning how to shoot long ranges. I discovered that when I used high levels of concentration my tremors stopped so, I proceeded with a goal to hit a target at 2 miles. It didn't happen until after I bought a NightForce ATACR FFP MOA scope, which allowed me the necessary adjustments not only for distance but for easier and more defined windage corrections, different range finder with excellent accuracy and a crew of people that were interested in helping me achieve my goal. But, the real reason I was able to finally score 2 hits 10 inches apart, was the concentration I applied to eliminate my tremors before I moved my trigger. Now that my disease has progressed to it's present state, I can't control my tremors though high enough levels of concentration anymore. I just help newbies get the basics to do what I did. Thanks again for what you and Sam do to help anyone who enters this wonderful sport, Mark, as you have no other equals.

I have really enjoyed your frankness and trial and error approach to learning. There are a lot of great teachers on KZbin for sport shooting but I never get enough of your ‘learn by doing’ approach. It encourages me to get out more with any caliber. Even .22 pistol at 100yds is a great challenge and learning process across technique, ammo and setup. Enjoying my son being a part of the journey with his Air Force .25 rifle, Marlin .22, and the Rem 300WM. Happy plinking and keep those zombies out of the bottom paddock mate. Rob from Florida

Love you two! Always great info. I've been applying your wisdom regularly. With your "help", I've got my middle kids, 10-16, putting 22lr on 4" targets at 300yds with ease. Getting ready to move up. Thank you again!

I'm an old school guy where learning the hardway....is sometimes actually the best way (for some things 🤣 as a constructionworker I still have all my fingers .....but I've come close 🤣🤣) .....even though it sucks...you become better overall...cause your aware of the pit falls of "easy" I very much believe in the value of.....every time you get knocked down you get back up stronger and hopefully wiser..... and some people need to fall more then others ... Preach on mark.......I will always listen to the sermon!

very informatave thank you for the effort you put in. many of us really apreciate it. i also have a question/obversation, i have noticed that you have no moderators on any of your guns and i fuiger that there must be a reason for it.. is it a legal thing or is it an accuracy thing? i ask mainly because ive found in every instance a mod had gained me or a client of mine accuracy. best wishes from scotland
@markandsamafterwork4 жыл бұрын
Yes not legal here, and yes they can for some shooters and on some rifles offer a bit help with harmonic dampening, all in the details, but not all good too, Cheers

Here in Germany it‘s hard to shoot more than 300m. There are only a few ranges which have 500m. For more you have to travel to PL, CZ or Norway etc.
