I needed to hear this! As a person who just finished college and is navigating jobs while feeling depressed as heck, I decided to take a step back and slow down because life is much more than just a job, I guess. I don’t know; I'm still figuring it out. But I’m glad that I’m not alone in this journey.

Honestly the jobs that are about “helping people” typically suck, are stressful, and underpaid. After having them you realize you need to make good money and take excellent care of yourself before you start bending over backwards for others. I’ve been finding more meaning now a days in adventure and developing myself than in helping others, despite being a highly empathetic person.

@@jake_enslin yeah! Regular jobs now a days mean that you’re broke, sadly. You either need a great career or a really good racket. I’m developing a good racket for myself right now as a specialized technician
