Kim, ask your OB doctor to send you a referral for pelvic floor physical therapy. See if that helps you first before you consider any procedures. I send all my patients to pelvic floor physical therapy when they have bladder issues postpartum and most are corrected but a few do need surgical procedures

I definitely agree with making your home your own, whether it’s your forever home or not. My partner and I bought our house in 2023 in a Houston suburb, and we’ve added an inground pool, among other renovations. We only plan to be here for maybe 3 to 5 more years. It’s all about enjoying the space we’re in while we’re in it.

We sold what I thought was going to be our forever home, I lived there for 10 years it was a new build, was sad to see it go. Had the 3 car garage and large property, but life changes and you have to adjust to the times. I am still in the same area just in a smaller house.

Hi you can get a consult with a pelvic floor physical therapist! We treat this daily in outpatient rehab. Ask your doctor for a referral and google pelvic floor therapist in your area. It is NOT a quick fix but as a pelvic floor physical therapist we work with your core which includes your diaphragm and pelvic floor to stop the bladder leakage. It works!!
