As a native New Yorker here, when you hear helicopters frequently it’s due to searching the neighborhood for a particular individual, along with the helipads being nearby. The Bklyn bridge area is a pretty popular area too! As for roof tops, def a vibe but I’m like you i can’t be around too many ppl. That’s why I personally travel with my husband lol 20:43 that look is EVERYTHING!!!

Great video! I live in NY, and I do not eat in restaurants with trash either. Yuck. Planta is great, but you didn't order their signature items (Truffle fried rice, bao buns, etc.). Also, Ladybird is another great restaurant, especially for brunch. Glad you had a great trip and your fashions were on point!

Omg 😱 , I can’t believe you drove in the city! You are so brave and courageous! I was born & raised in Brooklyn and only drove in Brooklyn and Manhattan a few times and I am 61 years old! 😅 I live on Long Island, New York (suburbs ) and take the Long Island railroad and subways around the city! Too many one way streets, aggressive drivers, no parking (pay $50 or more to park in a dingy dark garage for the day ect). Not worth bringing a vehicle in the city, not to mention the traffic is awful! But you did it girl! 👏🏾👏🏾😃❤️

I still live here in Harlem ..New Yorkers is definitely freedom of expression, you can wear whatever you want 😊.. what you have on ,it’s exactly what we wear.. come visit Harlem 125 th street That’s one thing about New York we dress according to what we like there’s no judgment. You were driving in Brooklyn, near the Williamsburg bridge , take the FDR up north and you can come right into Harlem and have some fun …This city is fun. Love the fits!!! Yeah, all Planta’s are Asian inspired. Each location may have a few different options if they're not a Planta Queen. Try the bang bang broccoli with the peanut sauce on the side next time😊. I loveeed the new one in DC called Planta Cocina (Mexican cuisine inspired). I've been to a few different ones in different states too, so I hear ya with the ratings😅 next time in Brooklyn try Aunts et Uncles, their Mac & Cheese is amazinggg!!

In NY we don’t judge, there is all types of dressing no matter where you go because there are so many different things to do here in one day that, it’s why they call it the lace that never sleeps. People actually get dressed up to get dinner n then go out after to the places they are actually dressed up for, no matter how late the night is. Tthere is always an after, and an after the after.Before you said that you felt a bit uncomfortable, I was thinking you are the only KZbinr, black or white who flex and style like a NYer, you just fit n have the look n style effortlessly. The way you look will always make others question what they are wearing. Anything goes in NY, all we ask is don’t get sick on the train coz that will delay all of us from getting to where we are going if we are not cabbing it .
