Yes, watching it again and again periodically. So important tho go up and down vertically without any steering... I mounted larger wheels because of our field, had to trim up.. destroying my trimless vertical. Mounted a stronger (little bit) heavier motor, destroyed my vertical again... I fly a rather small f3a trainer... not the real thing... Much more difficult to get everything right. it is so good advice from you thank you!. Maybe you could talk about how to remedy the tendencies when forced to mount bigger wheels or having to adding nose weight... Thank you so much again.

What I want to know is when do you decide if your wing incidence is too high vs too low. Same with stab incidences.

Ack when I was doing f3a I used dual rate rarely but always some expo to soften neutral for smoothness! I mastered rolling circles, square loops with half rolls and super slow rolls.
@rombautrc
@rombautrc Жыл бұрын
Nice, I know some people flying only with expo. In the end you have to choose what makes you feel better and more confident. I think I could not fly F3A without DualRates 😅

Hi Juan, thanks for taking the time to put these videos together to help others. The one thing I would like to suggest is to remove the back ground music . It distracts from your great advice and commentary. Otherwise really great and much appreciated

If the plane pulls towards the canopy on a up line, do you add more down thrust on the motor ?? or do you change the wing incidence??? if its wing incidence are you raising or lowering the wing - Thanks
@rombautrc
@rombautrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jerry! That´s a very good question. I would start first with the motor incidence adding more down thrust. However, if you prefer to start changing the wing incidence, I would lower the wing a little bit. In the next video I will talk about with a practical example😉. Cheers!

The T-Canalizer is designed to enhance the efficiency of the rudder, resulting in a more responsive model. It is really useful in knife-edge maneuvers, as it provides better control. In addition, mine has a small elevator that serves as an airbrake. Overall, these modifications are useful in improving the model´s performance and control. Cheers! ✌️

Hola Juan.
@rombautrc
@rombautrc Жыл бұрын
Hola Carlos! La mezcla siempre esta activa, pero solo funciona cuando el motor esta al 0%. La mezcla es Motor sobre Elevador. Saludos!

Juan, can you fly close to you on knife edge, look in tail and do knife edge loop. I wanna see how your plane does it.
@rombautrc
@rombautrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Artyom! Do you want to see it compensating, or only applying rudder 😏🧐. Setting up a mix to make a perfect knife-edge loop is a challenge but depending on the maneuvers of the schedule I try to adjust as much as I can my mixes for perfect knife-edge flight. Noted for another video 👍. Cheers!

Your mixes on rudder are due to coupling, so when ever rudder is used, which is almost all the time it's to be expected that the mixes are on all the time.

How to slow down to land on short runways ? Can we use aileron as spoiler?
@rombautrc
@rombautrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Fuse Lee! I normally use my T-Brake if it is very windy and I want to make the approach faster and brake only before the landing or just for fun, here you have an example kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4DZk5Wvob6BZq8. I have seen people (pilots used to use CI engines) using the ailerons (both up)... I tried but I didnt see a real benefit with the current electric motors and thats why I am not using it. Cheers!

Gracias. Y enhorabuena por tus vuelos!!!
@rombautrc
@rombautrc 3 жыл бұрын
Hola Luis! Saludos 😉 www.rombautrc.com/contact

Sorry, I'm really not so excited about your Video. You're talking and talking and talking and telling facts, I already know, otherwise I wouldn't be interested in this F3A stuff. But you dont give any simple advice to correct unwanted behaviour of the model. This is not very efficient.
