I've been training mustangs for over 40 years. This man Is Not abusing his mules! Please just watch how wild horses communicate with each other for a while and then maybe the comments would go something like this. "Man, this guy really knows how to get things done,and He is so Gentle!!! Keep up the good work Max!

With my opinion I don't think equine should be taught to lay down forcefully it's not teaching them trust and communication it's just teaching them that you're a predator and that they're helpless against you. But again that's just my opinion.

I’m a little reluctant to add a comment here after seeing all the negative comments but here is the question- What bit would you generally recommend for mules? I’ve always used a hackamore but my newly acquired mule needs a little more control and stop. Great videos! Keep up the good work. I’ve just started watching today and enjoy them Max

He is 4 coming 5 this year.. 3 or 4 years. Old when i start usually .he was small so waited longer

He never looks at his abuser Max and if you watch other videos you will see it’s because he gets hit and punched in the face. When mules lay down they are very vulnerable and why do you need a mule to lay down? Using force to do this is cruel so yeh sure I think it’s abuse 🤬
