I get so excited when I see you have uploaded a new video! I love this..I have no foam board so I have to hunt for something else to use. But I am working along with you XXX Susanna

Happy to read that! Yes so in that case try to find a strong cardboardbut not too heavy either , you will have to be more carefull during the drying process it will have a sure tendancy to curve even with the cardboard on theb edges , maybe you will have to add very light weights when it start to dry to prevent that, but if can work too , we have to use what we have :)

I have planned to do something similar for a long time in the vaulted areas of my home, I was thinking of sculpting in plaster, but I love the idea of paper mache!! It is so much lighter and more durable than plaster. Thank you for showing us this technique! I am rethinking everything... Also thank you for sharing your home. It is enchanting I can see why you moved there! One more thing... I love your clothing. I have similar tastes and often re-purpose vintage clothing and buy at thrift stores to make my outfits. Do you buy your clothing "ready to wear" or do you make your clothes? Thank you for the sunshine you bring to the kingdom! Take care! Elle
@Merveillesenpapier7 жыл бұрын
Thank you Elle! yes papier maché ornaments are really the best for this purpose and especially at this scale if they fall, they can't be damaged ,it's till in my video drawers to show you the finished result , for the moment they are still waiting to be completed and hung . That's great I'm just starting to discover thrift stores and second hand shops,, I buy mine ina few specific shops here , but would love to learn to make clothes at least few of them maybe once my kingdom is all decorated and furnished :) thank you for your sweet message ♥
