I enjoy drawing but I rarely take the time to do it. I think I will really enjoy doing it everyday. Thanks for all the inspiration you give.

Your frosty forest looks very enchanting ❤ The stationery looks very promising, so cute indeed. Drawing like many things such as sowing, knitting or even cooking takes patience and much practice, if you really want to do a good job you have to keep on doing it everyday and always do it with love...and you can tell you are very passionate 😊 I have started two new projects this year, one is knitting a pair of socks, and the other is I've decided to write a sort of witchy journal(grimoire) with home remedies, moon fases and seasonal cooking recipes 😊

Winter in France looks so magical! It’s also my favorite time of year. My goal for this new year is to create more art. I paint, mostly with watercolor. I’ve been drawing since I was a small child, and I started watercolor over 10 years ago. You’re right about practicing! I also want to get better at making videos. It’s new to me. Hello Laetitia and Clochette. Clochette, you look so warm and cozy in your bed clothed in wool.. That icey snow walk looked so fun and the frozen snow crystalized branches were stunning. I too love winter walks, but it's been too cold to walk almost the whole of winter so far. You still have plants alive on your balcony? I too love those divided palette plates, very useful and handy. So, your Winter Collection stationary set is not available yet? And will be in your newsletter/email to purchase? Is that granny square fabric piece on your studio's window sill made of fabric or crochet yarn? It's quite lovely.

Oh yesClochette is extra comfotable in her alpaga wool scarf/blanket, it's not snow though it looks like it it's entirely 100% frost. My chrysanthems are still resisiting and still have a few flowers but the rest is sleeping now. Yes the first to know will be the subscribers to my newsletter . This was a little table cloth belonging to my great aunt and it is in a sort of velvet fabric .Thank you Roksanna !

Happy New Year! it's the same recipe than the one I shared last year the most basic and simple one, it's simple frangipane with 2eggs+ almond powder+sugar+ butter, today I've tried it again with a more traditionnal expensive butter doe (bought at the shop), than for my first ones, and it's a game changer!! +2yokes to golden the top and it's super shiny:)but next time I will add few drops of bitter almond essence, and I think it will be perfection. :) Thank you !

I feel the same way about my drawings. I've always drawn my entire life and it was and is just a way to clarify and work out ideas a part of a bigger project usually. I have stories I want to create in 3d with handmade miniatures and partially illustrated. I find that I enjoy drawing and painting most when it is a means to an end. When I use it to convey something or help tell a story. I started practising drawing more seriously years ago when I realised I needed to be able to put down my ideas in a comprehensible way as a tool. For a long time I did not enjoy it very much since it did not come to me as intuitively as working in 3d. I like it more now that I can create what I see in my mind in 2d too, but I still prefer making tangible things. It just comes more natural and instinctive. I like the thought of all-around artists that work in many mediums and combine their skills to create something that involves all kinds of abilities and knowledge. I love learning new skills and working with different materials and methods🥰
@Merveillesenpapier7 күн бұрын
Thank you Fiona for sharing your own approach of drawing ! yes I think an artist is more happy and fulfilled when he doesn't stay imprisoned in one specific medium or skill, and it's so refreshing to have some pause with one or the other to joyfully come back after a little break in 2d or 3d .

How delightful to see you enjoying the fallen snow and the frosted foliage. 😍 Truly magical❣️ Oh, yes. Drawing and sculpting are very complimentary. It’s great to put our sketches on paper even if it’s just a few doodles, repetitious patterns or variations on a theme. Drawing is very relaxing for me in between projects as I wait for each sculpture to dry. I absolutely love and appreciate your goals to include your enchanting illustrations in books for future publishing. Also, your stationery designs are a wonderful idea, of course. 🙂 Personally, I always have a work in progress all year round for fun and relaxation. Occasionally, I may put aside some pieces for kits or offer digital downloads with images and instructions. This month, I have begun working on jesters along with Mardi Gras and carnival themed sculpted pieces. I take things more slowly now in my retirement age of almost 70 years young and I feel much more relaxed. Your videos always reassure me that we can find comfort and pleasure in creating art with our wonderful papers at any age. Thank you for the joy and inspiration that you bring to so many of us. Wishing you a joyous and cozy Winter season. 💖💕💖

What a beautiful video, Laetitia! The outdoor photography and scenes were simply magical! Here in my region of the United States, Minnesota, it gets extremely cold. I love to get out and walk when the temperatures hover around freezing, but when they are below zero Fahrenheit, a lot of us hibernate indoors. I agree with you that there is nothing like hand drawn art. The advent of technology means we keep losing more and more of the handcrafted arts across the board. It's a pity, and I hope there will be a resurgence of more handiwork across all the various art forms! This winter, I am dedicating myself to finish more and more of my condo. It's a slow process, but very satisfying. Wallpaper in the dining room and a new chandelier is next! Thank you for a lovely video that transported me again!
@Merveillesenpapier7 күн бұрын
Thank you !!I can imagine that at so low a temperature ,to hibernate is a necessity !
