Happy New year to you and your family. I would keep the rug, stain the night stands a dark colour and I am wondering if you ever considered a glass see through set of lamps? There are some really elegant glass lamps out there and some have a gold base too..Edit: I forgot you bought the gingham lampshade so maybe bring in some blue or beige lamps to bring in a bit of blue from the rug. I love the L shape and now that the couch fits perfectly on the rug and that makes a huge difference too. The nightstands are perfect and I would definitely make them darker. I would decide on the rug when the nightstands have the right color and the lampshades are adorable💡bedroom bliss for sure. I can’t wait to see the DIY book shelves and molding in your living space 🤎

I think the nightstands are perfect! Please keep the rug! Maybe some brass vintage lampstands would be a cute mixture of old and modern with the gingham lampshades. And then stripping the nightstands, sanding them down like you did for the coffee table would pull it all together 👌🏻 Also, adding in some paintings to tie in the purple/blue that the rug pulls could be a nice touch! AHH QUEEN! Definitely L shaped! Maybe a striped grey bedding! Maybe a painting can also go above the bed! Some flowers on the coffeee table would be so cute! Love the nightstands! Hi Haley! You are doing a great job with your bedroom. I would say stripping the nightstands and doing them a light wood would be really pretty with a dark base for the lamps. The rug already grounds the space, so a lighter nightstand would blend with your bed better. I think making the lamps a darker tone color from your rug or even the brown out of the shade would really make a statement and make the room warm and cozy. Great job!

i actually really love the blue toned rug in the bedroom! and it’s a more neutral blue so it definitely compliments all the other colors. i love the night stands but definitely in a different stained color. they’re so unique and exactly that french country vibe! im also thinking a gold base for the lamp shades to compliment the hardware! i’m loving watching you decorate 🤎✨

Keep the curtains & the rug, they're perfect for the space. Lamps I think it could be cool to have "sister lamps" ones that go together but aren't identical. Especially since the lampshades match it could add to that cozy feel. I'd go gold/brass/bronze.

I love the L shape for the couch, honestly I think the rug looks fine as long as you have maybe some more blue and green accents in the room, definitely a creamy beige/greyish color for the lamp bases, and I think the nightstands in the same color as the coffee table would look so good! Also I love what the dark curtains add to the room, it for sure emulates the french country vibe.

I feel like those “nightstands” are actually end tables for a couch, based on the depth of them. I think I would suggest incorporating some blue on the bed to tie in the rug. Metal lamps for sure.

With the colour palette you have going on, if you stain the nightstands to match the coffee table it will be a beautiful transition from the curtains to the bedding/pillows. The gold lamps might be a bit much but the pop of saturated colour might be perfect if you find an antique lamp set sometime. Love how the house is turning out, I’ve been watching since the Toronto reno’s and it’s so crazy to see the home your creating that the girls get to grow in now!!!

I love the rug. It plays nicely against the brown curtains, helping the room not to feel too sterile. The tables are well proportioned to the bed headboard thickness. I think the lamps need to be alot bigger than the current size of the shades. Likely a clay vessel looking base with beige tapered shades

Honestly, if the blue is throwing you off and you’re unsure that you totally like it then you should keep an eye out for the perfect rug that YOU love . After all you have to look at it everyday. Bedroom bliss! Girlie the brown curtains look so good! Love that you’re doing different shades of brown in the bedroom, I think if it was all one shade in it would just feel wrong lol. The nightstands look great though I definitely think they need to be a different tone, the reddish brown is not doing it! I would say let them be a shade of brown that goes between the curtains and the bedding so that it ties all together and doesn’t disappear into each other. The L-shaped couch was definitely the right move, and I look forward to the bookcase wall (that is literally such a dream to have a library wall!) I hope you and your family have a lovely holiday!

Love how the couch looks. The nightstands I sand down lighter more natural and brass/gold lamps. If you add the pretty color throw then I change the rug. Rug light brown green multi color. Thrift a large picture frame and order a printed picture to match and I go golde/brass vintage use ruff and buff.

Haley those French Country nightstands are gorgeous! If they don't work out in the master bedroom, try to see if they would work out in a guest bedroom or another room of the house, even if you have one nightstand in one room and one in another. Definitely keep the nightstands as is! Chocolate brown is my favorite color and also an underrated one! I personally love the rug in the bedroom space!

I like the vision! The lamp shade I think would be really nice in a rounder clay with maybe some texture which you can easily DIY on any base with baking soda and paint. I also think doing moulding on your walls would look amazing

Love it all but would suggest and dark orange/brown or even dark olive/khaki rug? Alaonif you could find two similar shapes bases and then upcyle them in a dark olive khaki to keep the earthy tones? The bedsides I would also go with a dark chocolate or if you're feeling brave deep orange/or tan colour this is just based on the colour palette you showed on screen earlier in target ❤️ loving these videos and can't wait to see what you do!
