I think it’s great that you left in more footage for the people who aren’t concerned with a certain step. They can always fast forward…. me personally I am very glad you’re doing this whole series. I love to see somebody else’s take on a cool knife like this and their techniques on how to get it there! Great work brother! 👊

Hey E, have you thought about trying a file sander like the WEN 6307? I have one but I’ve never used it for knife making. It’s a good tool and I have to think it would save you some time on all the detail work…maybe. Just a thought. Great blade!

Don’t worry mate, this isn’t TikTok. We have attention spans of more than 60sec. Long videos are good

I'm happy people are cool with the longer videos. This part was only about 2 minutes of the Challenge video that I made the first version of this knife in.

I'd say for anyone who wants to learn put as much detail in the videos as you can. Anyone who wants a shorter video can just fast forward it pretty easily. Loved the video myself

You really should be clamping your blade down to the drill press when drilling to avoid the dreaded helicopter.
@theriversexperience9383
@theriversexperience9383 2 ай бұрын
@@billclancy4913 Once I get a new drill press, I'll do that. The one I have has two things going for it. 1) The post that attaches the base to the drill body is so close to the drill bit that even if it tries to spin, the blade will just stop when it hits that post. 2) the drill press motor isn't that strong, so it doesn't really have the power to yank the blade out of hand.
