Bout time my John Deere Wildman. We've already been at it here. Lot's of rain and lot's of growing grass. lol My husband still has his 77 Shovel Head Harley. The old kick start. Keeps it in tip top shape. 👍😎

Mr. Rick, have you considered installing a pair of ag tires on the back? Many think the R1 ags will destroy turf, but in reality they prevent tire spinning on wet grass. Also, you can tow a TON more weight! They are super expensive at around $150 a pair, but for a $3K+ mower, it's nothing! What are your thoughts? Happy spring! GP

My 105 the motor seized on me , and I always kept proper maintenance on it. I bought a ryobi battery rider. I’m done with lawn gas engines

Yeah, my neighbor keeps my D 170 going. I call it my green and yellow Ferrari cause it never starts the first time. Replaced my chainsaw and line trimmer with battery powered tools. Can’t beat them.

I’m a small ending repair mechanic It’s best when u first start ur motor to let it warm up on low rpm/ idle vs at full rpm If u have to start with choke Once’s starts pull lever straight back normal for motor die on first attempt Wat I try do is keep idle a little high But not no ware near full rpm There is just oil being pumped to the rod Evthing else going off if splash Company’s want to do damage so u can buy new tractor The oil needs a chance to get to every were take over minutes before reaches valves At 100 hour mark u gonna wanna have some do the vavles or you eventually get the decompression hiccup we’re dosnt want to start or somtines starts youl think it’s the battery when ur vavles are so far out of adjustment ment Ur decompression Is no longer decompression the cylinder so its getting full compression and starter can’t over come it

This week will be my 3rd time cutting grass,I do it every other week,it is raining now Wednesday night, and is supposed to rain tomorrow,so maybe I can cut it after with the smaller chances of rain,Friday through Sunday,do you check your tire pressure like I do?I also use non ethanol gas.

I did put air in the tires after the video. I should have checked it first. :)

I have a John Deere E-150, 48" cut. First and last John Deere I'll ever own. It replaced a 10 year old Husqvarna that never let me down but the mower deck rotted away. I cut a 1 - 3/4 acre mostly level lot. It's got 503 hours on it and has gone through 3 OEM belt sets, I just ordered the second set of replacement deck spindles @ $68 each as the bearings grenade in them. Also had to change the carburetor as the newer JD's have plastic parts in them that fail. I think I'm going to go back to Husqvarna or get a couple sheep ?
