I was exploring on an island this morning and found a big abandoned building. The building had one of those massive sequoia trees, that you can't cut down, growing through it. I even had to climb on the branches of the tree to get to the top floors of the building.

Put 2 or 3 more beams and then the top final beam. On the beams below you can add the dishes like a regular cellphone tower and the Blinking light at the top. :)

for the red light you should put a controller and set on loop . That will blink it pretty easy . Try it!!!!!

If you put a chair on the elevator and sit, it won't knock you out. I discovered this after making a 35 piston thingy to get to the top floor of a warehouse. That is 35 level 5 pistons attached to a vehicle. The other secret is, you need to use one of the chairs from an office, or guard house, because it doesn't launch you out when you get off. It might hurt a bit if you get launched off at that height. Trust me I know. Crazy yup, but it was as much fun as you can have at 3AM when you are binge playing this game.

I think you need to extend the pistons one by one, so you limit the speed of them. I.e. time it correctly first one extends fully-> second one starts to expand-> expands fully-> third one starts expanding .... and the other way around for the way up.

I built my base in the same spot. I have a 240 plot farm up there, and the raids spawn down on the ground, so it's completely safe. I get two raid timers though, so when the raid bots spawn it's quite laggy, but I can just wait it out for 4 minutes until they give up and leave.

Ahhh it bugs me that the main stairway up to the base has no supporting structure! Also, if you use two sets of pistons and attach them to opposite corners of the base of the elevator car instead of its roof, that might hide them a bit. Oh and putting the pistons on a controller, you can activate them separately which would slow down the decent.
