Get expandable hose so when it freezes they won’t bust!! I have the expandable pipes on my mobile home & so far work like a charm. Saves some headaches & money for sure! Sometimes a freeze will sneak up on you.💕

I really hope this horrible cold weather passes quickly. We get so used to our central heating . Watching you makes me realise I shouldn’t take it for granted. I remember my mum hanging washing on the line in freezing weather and bringing it in as stiff as a board. We didn’t have central heating till the 80s after we’d been married for 10 years. Previously we heated the bathroom with an old paraffin heater for bath nights. Most of the time we could scrape the ice off the inside of the windows. Brrrr. Cuddle up and keep warm. Love watching you two. It’s like having good friends lol but you just don’t know me 😂😂

Great to see that your van started straight away in this freezing weather. Outside taps are a pain in winter especially when using them form time too time but warm water on the taps the best way of sorting it like you said. Watch out on late Sunday into Monday if you're not aware which I'm sure you are for gale force winds again.

Dan, you are correct that the car doesn't need to warm up. Just don't over rev it when the engine is cold, otherwise not a problem. No harm in driving it in the cold - here in Canada it gets to -20 to -30 regularly. Never have any issues. My father was a mechanic.

hello. Nice to meet you. I enjoyed the video. The cold wave continues, so your faucets and pipes are broken. I also travel with a motorhome, and I drain all the water during the winter. It must have been really difficult to have one of the wire reels broken and the faucet not working. After traveling, I feel like I'm learning one thing at a time through a lot of trial and error. Have a look at your windscreen cover where the front joins to the sides, if it attaches with Velcro you can fold the top half down to let light in

Hi dan and mazzy its so cold your right we are not used to it its as cold as 2010 the birds love fatballs gives them extra fat to keep warm and yes clean out the bird boxes l use a mild detegent and rinse let it dry naturally. Keep warm 😊

First! 🥇 Good'ay to one 'n' all !! 'Tip' In cold weather its a good idea to put headlights on for 15 seconds to warm battery up thus preventing shock. Turn off lights and start!

All I can comment to this is if you have leccy, buy your regulator / bottle a leccy blanket! I did 5 years in a static, nothing like getting up at 3am with ice on the inside of the windows to then go outside to cuddle your bottle and whisper sweet everything's to your regulator for 20mins all so you can put the fire on for an hour until it all freezes up again! Then repeat until daylight hits the bottle / regulator!

I used to sell hose pipe connectors. I know everything about them. This size is not available on the UK market. This is a cheap disposable hose for a reason.
