Hello Helen, what a fabulous haul, loved everything you selected to show. The green of the shirt was so vibrant. It’s a shame about the velvet ties on the brown shirt as otherwise it looked lovely. The vest cardigan/jumper was really nice too. Like you I also love country music, I’ve seen Dolly, Kenny and Reba in concerts over the years. I don’t mind the latest country but they don’t compare to the Patsy Cline, Slim Whitman era, anyway that dress was definitely a great dress for a country and western concert. It is just a shame the boots weren’t comfy. You always make me smile, Helen, love your Sense of humour, 😂 looking forward to the Halara haul, as I’m a huge fan. ❤❤

Hi Helen. You are looking good for the start of 2025. I like the green blouse, jeans are a lovely shape and fit. The denim top, nah, not so much, looks like a maternity fit, short and flared. The dress is lovely, go for it. The boots... well they are going back anyway. The brown animal print top, cuffs too fussy. Black trousers VERY nice!! So versatile.the oatmeal jumper very smart!. The slipover looks like chain mail. Isn't it good to get back to normal. My family laugh at me cos I'm retired so they think all the days are the same to me, but they aren't. Another good haul Helen. Loved that country style dress ! The oatmeal top at the end I have and I love that too. I also have one of those cloud yarn vests too in the cream. I'm really disappointed with it as after a couple of wears it pilled dreadfully. Have to get my debobbler to it every time I wear it now. Wouldn't buy anything in that yarn again.

That was a good haul to start the year! 😊 I agree that the chiffon blouse would have been too much of a faff to keep doing the bows on the sleeves, but back in the day, I had a similar blouse and made the bows permanently tied then used a press stud to fasten them! Much easier! I also remember when M&S did half sizes, I was a size 13 top for years! (And a 15 bottom sadly!) 😊

Hi Helen. I arrived a bit late to today’s video but I wasn’t going to leave it until tomorrow! I loved the green colour on you and the denim tunic was very versatile.I loved the black and white checked dress but not as keen on the fringed boots. I don’t know why but I find it very difficult to find jumpers in a length that I like - I prefer them in a longer length to cover my tummy and bottom but the vast majority sit on or near my waist. A lovely haul in your hall to start off the new year.❤️🥰

Great start to the new year Helen. I'm just getting over a stinker of a cold/flu which seemed to last forever. However you make me feel normal again! I love your humour and digressing. My sisters and I were always guilty of that and we used to end up in fits of laughter. 😅 Some lovely pieces tonight. Loved the denim top. Yes I’ve always loved Dolly's unique voice and as you say before it became fashionable to say so! ❤
