I also reorganized all my supplies at the beginning of the year. Like you, I had been storing pencils by brand for long, but last year I decided to change and now they’re all together in jars separated by colour on top of a lazy Susan. I find this way I use them so much more. You’re right, it has to be easy to reach.

Maybe for the people who want to know, I could fit two layers of pencils on top of each other. So in one big hole of the tray’s I can put in 20 Holbeinpencils or 18 Derwent Ligtfast pencils. Maybe you see the color not all t once, but I know green is by green and blue is by blue

Love the drawers!! Tip, maybe leave one drawer empty if you organize the rest by color so that you can use it as a tray for loading up with project media that travels to the desk.
