Starting to row at Uni age - not too late!

With two thousand high school athletes competing at Maadi Regatta each year, you might think you've left it too late if you didn't start at school level. However, that's simply not the case. Two-time Olympic champion, Mahé Drysdale began rowing at 18 while at Auckland University. Westend Rowing Club where Mahé began offers a Learn to Row programme for 17- to 25-year-olds so RowingHub’s Wendy Petrie checks it out.
