Congrats on hitting 10k in 3 Days. Completely jealous right now. Okay, so it is decided. I'm going to hit 20k by day 6. Why I just decided this I have no clue, but you reaching 10k in 3 days is very exciting and inspiring. So, I have 13,602 words to hit 20k. This breaks down to 4534 words each today to hit 20k. Game On. Now if I can only get my dang Prologue done. It was only supposed to be 1350 words... I'm bad at predicting scene length. Oh well. Great video. Keep up the momentum.

I've had a slow start to nano this year. However despite this I have replotted this book 4 times and it's finally going down a storyline I like so even though I'm having a slow start I've still written the most this nano and I took a week off of vacay time around Thanksgiving to just nonstop work on my novel.

Congrats again! It was interesting/weird watching the clips back, because my brain just went "Wait, that's not the right angle/background for that memory." And interesting thing bouncing between softwares! As far as progress this month, it's... Okay x) I keep trying to remind myself that I always go slow at the beginnings of months... Annoying but true. Had to take last night (and subsequently this afternoon) as a mental break from my story... but hopefully can get into stuff again later this evening.

Wow! Fantastic! I love this idea. I need to do a 10k day. Not sure when that would be but it's all in the name of progress. I'd love to do a writing vlog but I don't get loads of writing time and my life is pretty boring. So, I guess my vlog would just be mostly eating, talking, and chores with some writing. It flows when it flows. I had no luck on day 3. Like none.

Cloud-based software? That immediately sounds sus. Nevertheless, I wish you luck. Your advice to go easy on myself has been working out so far. The outline is running smooth in part because half the ideas I'm using have been sitting around, ready to be used, since I was 12 years old. Outros do lend themselves to mess, don't they.

This is book #5. Only two have made it past the first draft so far but there will be plenty of time for moving forward in the future!

You have to be careful when setting a goal to writing 10k words for your new book , because you might not get all your ideas in one go, it may take weeks. If you do then you'll end up just writing and writing thousands of words that make no sense. Here's some tips. Who's your main character what's their main goal in the story. In star wars skywalker wants to save a princess. Who's the opposition, darth vader doesn't want the princess saved and wants skywalker to come to the dark side. Notice here the opposition( antagonist) has a goal in the story as well.
