There's nothing I like more than buying a few fresh fish (mackerel is my first choice) as soon as the boats tie up. A seaside pint of ale and a barbequed fresh fish is hard to beat on a summers evening on the south coast. Bloody fantastic.

Met a guy in Brixham in a pub, two pints in he tells me he's fisherman three pints he offers me a job starting next morning at 4am, after 5 pints he tells me all the horror stories and near misses, the sickening smell of the diesel engine's, dodging tankers in the fog, raging waves, 6 pints I'm definitely never gonna become shark bait, my fishing story

Two and a half hours trawling for maybe 40lbs of fish? I would say fairly well depleted. He was fishing just inside the limit though and the other side of the line will be completely raped by the Spanish.
