I love the art, and im taking the class next year and i have a question.Since when did the changes to the portfolio. Wasent it 24 ,12 for concentration and 12 for breadth.How is it now? im wondering because im trying to start early on my portfolio.

I'm not sure when it changed but I've been told I don't need a breath section, just 15 for concentration

To articulate it a little more precisely, they’ve kind of combined breadth and concentration so that your art progresses linearly and answers a question that you come up with (some examples that I was given were “What if the feeling of pain was enjoyable” or “what if the food we eat was alive”) but you are encouraged to explore different mediums as you progress. That’s at least the way that my art teacher explained it to me. In addition, there should be 5 more pieces that are separate from the 15. Basically, with these changes, they’re putting more focus on critical thinking and what’s unique, as well as the process of how you make your art, than just the finished products alone.
