@@sheemakhan459 u have to change the objective function from standard form to canonical form for simplex algoritm . in that form you bring everything to the left hand side and equal to zero so there the -s3 became positve s3 . for ex z=3x1+4x2 and st x1+s1=8 nd x2-s2=1 now changing the objective function to canonical form = > z-3x1-4x2-0s1+0s2=0

Miss g hum surplus variable ko _ krty hain ..... lakn jb hum decision variables ( x1 x2 etc ) ko zero lyty hain to S1 S2 ki valuse ati hain to jo (_) ka sign s1 ya s2 ky sath as a surplus variable laga ho ga wo on ki value ky sath ae ga ?? For example -s1=40 => -40 ho ga ?????
