Scott Schreiman is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and Ironman triathlete with a passion for reinventing education. As a proud Zionist, Scott served as a paratrooper in the IDF after making Aliyah, but later returned to the US to address family matters, where he founded and exited two successful startups.
Despite his business successes, or because of them, he now wants to take on a huge problem for society - the failure of our education system. Dismayed by the fact that a third of children graduate functionally illiterate, unable to participate meaningfully in the modern economy, Scott is now laser-focused on his most ambitious project yet - The Maimonides Project. This "moonshot" venture aims to reinvent education from the ground up using AI, with the dual goals of restoring the teaching of critical thinking skills and virtuous character development.
To tackle this challenge, Scott is recruiting a team of top talent from Israel's elite intelligence units - individuals who don't understand the word "impossible." With an unrelenting drive fueled by 12-14 hours per week of Ironman training, Scott is confident the The Maimonides Project can solve education's deepest structural problems and transform the lives of students worldwide.
