What if World Supercross had a round at Assen?!?

Race Factory Gaming recently began a new series where they compete in the World Super Motocross championship, a custom event series in MX Simulator. The first round happened to be on the Assen TT Circuit which has been used for MXGP in the past and it got me thinking, why doesn't World Supercross consider doing a round at a place like this?

I 100% agree with everything your saying. But they have to figure out how to put a season together. They can’t build a fan base until they prove they are going to at least be a legit series. And nobody is going to think they are legit until they set a schedule and stick to it. Second. I think they should just try to partner with red bull. And make it a red bull series

What a unique track. I love the fact that it practically has a straight rhythm section. I like the little roller before the table, and that turning step up jump is sick!

I've said this time, and time again. I would love to see a full sand Supercross track some day. Like an indoor "Southwick" or "Assen" I think it would make for very unique racing, not to mention challenging racing. Plus, who doesn't like seeing the riders tearing it up in the sand

It's pretty cool when FD goes into L.A. so it would be sweet to see some racing in a plaza somewhere, echoing off a bunch buildings and the glowing lights at night.

I think they should create a track on the streets In down town New York… something extremely like that in a very populated area wouldn’t do anything but demand attention to the sport

WHY IS PICKING TT CIRCUIT ASSEN A BAD IDEA? · Dutch weather sucks (specially in the winter), they're not gonna install the proper lights for such a one-off thing and the track gets quite some activity in the fairer months - Also, Checkerz or whoever made this layout way too large. OPINIONS on WorldSX · To the surprise of no one that has followed dirtbike racing over the past 30 years, supercross is very much a localized thing. A realistic WorldSX championship should only have rounds in the USA, their neighbors, England, France, Australia and then maybe Japan but that last one would mostly be because of the manufacturers. Everything else is a (DUMB) pipe dream that ain't gonna work at all, even MXGP dropped the almighty petrodollars from Qatar! OPINIONS on SMX · Kneejerk reaction to something that has ended up being a non-problem. The lack of confirmed venues for 2024 tells me they're already thinking about dropping it entirely. I give it a 3-year shelf life at most. Also, we need 25-minute mains for the bigger class to not make it feel like SX. OPINIONS on SMX LAYOUTS · I didn't like Charlotte because they didn't take advantage of the long and narrow playing field they had available. My ideal design would've been basically a 2-part thing with a very long rhythm section (200-300yds) and then a whole lot of corners, singles, rollers, walls and such on the way back. I was pleasantly surprised about the split lane, almost everybody was IIRC. · The Chicagoland layout was better in concept but they wasted a perfectly nice straight where they could've put some pro XL version of the Ten Commandments. Just 10 (or 9 or 12 or whatever would fit) equally-tall singles where riders can double, triple and even quad if they think that's a sane thing to do. · I liked the intentions behind the race at the LA Colosseum BUT the sand section was disappointing. They could've tried the old trick of placing a shipping container or something else, then burying it if they didn't had enough sand to make a dune! OPINIONS on STRAIGHT RHYTHM · Either make it some sort of circuit that is only made of very long straights (imagine a large triangle or just 2-4 straights going back and forth) OR kill it. The 1v1 all-straight stuff is absurdly predictable to the point I invented "The Dough Race" in my head, which would consist on basically "what if 1960s motocross but on modern 450s", with pro riders blasting around on a racetrack that has very few jumps and they'd all be ski jumps and singles.
