So kind of you to help Dax. I've had several APBT's, American Pit Bull Terriers, super good & devoted dogs, the best!! Socialized at puppy age, they'll be good with other dogs. I see Dax has a lot of little scars on his head, signs of past fighting, 😢, so probably why he doesn't do well with other dogs. A loving & firm owner, as you two, may be able to help him learn, understand, when he needs to be a good boy, etc. He's so lucky to have found you.😊

Looking at the pictures of all the horses, they look great and so contented. Your two new rescue dogs are so sweet. Thank you for taking them in and making them part of your family. Dax and Red have hit the lottery and now have found their perfect forever home. Your videos are important--you inform, you educate. Pittbulls have been unfairly demonized. The worst bites I saw in the emergency room were not pitbulls. The bites were attributed to: teasing, deliberate "de-socializing" or threatening the dog until it became anxious and then aggressive; people who do educate their children to be respectful and not grab,, pinch, or hit the dog (sometimes with toys). A dog is part of the family, that is the joy of dogs, they will give everything to their families until their last heartbeat. Please keep videos including the pups. I love hearing about each of the rescues, their personalities and social life. Keep it up BIg Hoof!

I couldn't agree more with your comment! Education on animals is the most important thing a parent can teach their children. Dax went through a horrible life and he turned out to be a great dog. Yes! They jump on the horse stock to stay away from the dog when he's out there and it probably saved their lives when the coyote showed up. They also go up in the rafters in the barn. It's amazing to watch the cats balance.

@@YeCatte She never said the dogs were attacking the cats. They are probably barn cats to keep the rats away, and not pets, so they’re not friendly to dogs or people.
@YeCatte23 күн бұрын
Don't make up dumb things to fit your fan agenda. It makes you look very dumb. Her dog hassles the cats. She needs to train the dog to be less of a nuisance to the cats. It doesn't matter whether the cats are feral, barn cats or not, her dog should not hassle the cats. Cats are too often treated as not mattering or deserving of protection and at the bottom of the hierarchy, this applies at Fletcher Farms. I have seen a lot of their videos. @@BridMhor

Hi Julie, Dax looks more like an American staffy than a pitbull to me..?? Either way, if they have NOT been socialised around other people or dogs, they really have to be kept isolated from strangers or other dogs. I'm sure you are far too busy to undergo a full socialisation program with him. Also "Red" is an Australian "Blue heeler" cattle dog, another breed that can be very savage around strangers or other dogs, unless socialised from a puppy. They are also a very boisterous dog and like to run all day if you let them, this is why they are used on cattle stations in Australia, rounding up cattle. They have a lot of stamina, are fearless, but very loyal, and are great with children if fully trained from a puppy. I can only assume Dax and Red are kept separated..???? This is a pity because had they been socialised dogs from the start, they would run & play with each other all day.

I love how much you guys care for all of these animals. Always look forward to hearing how all of you are doing. Have to laugh at Dax, he soooo reminds me of my "pitador retriever" rescue puppy. So many similarities. She isn't quite so helpful as Dax and Red, but has her moments. Outdoors, it's the zoomies and when I go out she just runs flat out! Hoping you stay warm! Have to laugh at the feeder/backside scratchers. That was so thoughtful of you to get for them! My cousin in law would have her pick up to haul hay to the horses. The horses all backed up to the bed of the truck and left "tokens of their appreiciation " for her to muck out later. I love seeing y'all. God bless you!!! Hugs!
