Holy cow is this so ungodly good or what, like I can't wait for the next episode. Man dude this is out of this world. This wouldn't even have to be star wars to make me want to see it and yet it is star wars. Such amazing acting, such amazing tension. Dang after Book of Boba and Obi-wan this really is crazy amazing.

They made something really special with the prison scenes. None of the prison scenes are beyond Andor's pov. The event at Level 2 is told via words of mouth to Andor and the audience. There's no flashback or recap visualization of what happened on Level 2, just words. Even when Andor was looking out to the other bridges, the cam never closed up on the other bridges. It was just as what Andor could see. I believe this technique helped the prison immersion to the viewers and gave that claustrophobic feels watching it. Everything that happened outside Andor's pov is NEVER shown. The audience deduced what happened on Level 2 the same way as Andor, from words of others. The horrors of what actually happened is left to Andor's and our imaginations. What a great piece of storytelling technique.

this is not just a good star wars show, it's an Emmy worthy show. From the acting, the creativity, the plot and the dialouge, this show has delivered.

this scene is a perfect example of why this show is so great, i felt the stress of these characters right away even though i only know some for 1 episode. also i feel like the old guy is being set up to be this series clone 99.

Is this... actual tension I'm feeling!? Like- did the power go down because they fried a whole floor just then? I'm invested!
@evanroesch742 Жыл бұрын
This show is written so cleverly. This scene has even more meaning when you rewatch, knowing that the lights going off “Power Glitch” is likely the exact moment when they fry those 100 prisoners on level 2.

I've watched each episode at least four times already. It's just that good. It checks every box. Everything about this show is smart. The careful world building provides the verisimilitude that star wars needs.

1:24 I know its just a little detail, maybe even funny, but who hasn't been so frustrated and angry scolding someone that your tongue gets tangled up in the middle of what you're saying, feels so real, props to Andy Serkis, he's killing it
