@@swector_unit4257 that and the training for the stormtroopers was vastly inferior to the clones, partly because clones were literally trained soldiers from birth, whereas literally anyone could be a stormtrooper. Also after the defeat of the jedi, pretty sure sidious felt like he didn’t really need an army, he just had one to deal with planets and systems he couldn’t be bothered to do anything himself about.

I just realized something. During the shot from Crosshair's perspective at 1:03, it shows a perfectly round HUD display. But during a similar shot during The Solitary Clone, it shows the outline of his visor completely with the semi-circle cutout for the scope to interface with. So when he's aiming while wearing the helmet that actually has the cutout, it displays a circle, but when when he's wearing the helmet that just has a straight visor it shows the cutout from the previous model of helmet. Huh.

@@Gearshoot I don't know if it's either. I've seen similar things happen before. The scope seen in TCW would be a beta overlay before they finished what Crosshair's reticle would look like (I have to assume this is the case, since blocking out that much if the screen is almost never intentional even for POV sniper shots), but they didn't finish the design in time so had to use it in the final product, but it still got finished for future use. Then when TBB rolled around they just reused the finished asset since there wasn't any point in making a new one (especially since they would have been pulling TCW assets anyways for the episode, since they needed the commando droid and tactical droid models as well). This is more common in video games where beta placeholder models and sprites are used until a finished one can replace it (which sometimes is never), but it isn't unheard of it happening in TV animation as well. Doesn't make it any less annoying when it does happen, but it's understandable.

That whole experience was surreal. I guess it's been a while since I've seen any clones but the Bad Batch boys, but as I watched I could just feel my love for every clone that has ever lived tick higher and higher with every second that passed and every word they said. I guess I've forgotten how much they mean to me. It looks like I need to do some more binging! I'm just gonna go watch Clone Wars and The Prequel movies and cry. They deserved so much better than what they were dealt.

The first clip amuses me. Droids are robots, they have reaction times leaps and bounds faster than humans. So those droids could realistically have lit up that clone the instant they saw him, but no, they waited for him to get his Rambo-like quite out and open fire himself.
