I think Gaga can do a great job. She is a bonafide actress now. Joker 2 had WAY more problems than having gaga in it. I've never seen Rachel Zegler in anything. At this point Idk if Henry Cavil is more distracting than Gaga. He is almost as much of a nerd pop icon than Gaga is a music pop icon. I think at least she can "dress down" her character and maybe blend in more so than Cavil can if she is not breaking into song every 15 minutes. She was in Gucci and as crazy as that movie was, I never once was thinking about "oh that's just lady Gaga".

A co-star she must've gotten quite close to during months of filming * Attending the actor/writer strike, loudly claiming that she deserves to be paid for every hour she wears a princess dress, NOT REALIZING the strike isn't about big actors like her, but rather all the thousands of unknowns who can barely make a living. * While promoting her movie, she included "Always remember: Free Palestine" (without understanding the conflict, if that wasn't obvious already), while her closest co-star (who has attended all previous interviews with her) is a member of the Israeli army and has openly taken a stance with Israel. A bit awkward, isn't it? * She was forced to make an apology video for all the discourse among Snow White fans, but didn't apologize once in said video, and instead talked about how she's the victim of hatred, but that people will always line up to buy tickets to her movies. That's just the greatest Zeigler moments off the top of my head, and I do my best to avoid Hollywood gossip. She seems like a genuinely unlikable (or just very immature and ignorant) person.

I’ll admit I had no idea who she was, so I looked her up to find these controversial comments, and I can’t see anything controversial about them, to be honest. That Snow White movie IS outdated in it’s attitude towards the sexes, but so are so many movies from the past. That doesn’t make what she said controversial, because she is correct, but it also doesn’t make those movies wrong either, because they were made in another time. If you think those are controversial then try reading Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl children’s books. They were pretty racist to say the least. The name of the dog in the original Dambusters movie has to edited out now because you just can’t say that word anymore. But it’s not wrong either to point out they aren’t exactly PC these days. Try to put people’s comments into context before just labelling them controversial, because there was nothing really controversial in what she said. She could’ve put her message across in another way maybe, but those movies are often not with the times.

Look at the stark contrast between *Star Wars* and *The Empire Strikes Back* and tell me the ST is not what George wrote. Sure, he wrote it a little differently because he was planning on having a younger trio, but the misdirection and ambiguity match what he learned from changing the story from *Splinter of the Mind's Eye* (1978) and starting the same arguments we're having today. This has been going on since the originals. They switched a few characters around, held off on the Microbiotic deep dives (most likely because they saw potential going in a few directions, one being the fans wouldn't understand it well enough; two, they didn't understand it well enough to do it right, or technology needed to be better, and the third in my mind would be sprinkling it throughout the shows and movies between to let it sink in with the fandom). The "Plan" was his story treatments adapted to be later in the timeline. Much of what else happens; Leia being the hero of her trilogy isn't feasible with Carrie Fisher. Luke, Han and Leia will have to be recast or deep-faked in the timeline he intended. There had to be some changes, but the employees and Kathy claim they didn't make any wholesale changes to the story. It's all what we make of it, and nobody's wrong for thinking it should've gone differently. We're wrong for expecting it to.
