Since the death of Vice Admiral Holdo in SW:TLJ and Leia with failing health I'd like to see Hera Syndulla to step in as leader of the Resistance it'd be a nice bridge.

I agree. I think Holdo's character was unfortunately pretty pointless in TLJ. If they brought Hera into E9, most casual fans would have no idea who she is, but they would have an entire TV show to dive into to understand and appreciate the character. Hell, if Hera replaced Holdo in TLJ it would have been better. Holdo's character failure is rooted in the fact that there is zero reason for the audience to care about her character at all. In fact, many people find her death so pointless they wonder why Leia wasn't substituted for the hyperspace ram, especially considering that Carrie is gone.

I was thinking there should be a short comic book series about Sabine being on Lothal title "Sabine the Protector of Lothal" where she protects the planet in Ezra's place, due to how Hera isn't returning due to her duties in the rebellion thus Zeb, Chopper, Kallus, and Rex won't be coming back, making Sabine angry because how Hera goes against her word about protecting Lothal for Ezra, that she lost her respect for Hera. And another from Sabine's mother, Ursa Wren who's mad that Sabine left the Rebel Alliance and not return to Mandalore to help her family and people. And Sabine told her she's doing this for Ezra, but Ursa points out that the planet has nothing to do with her or Mandalore, and points out how she's more foolish than when she left the Imperial academy, that upset Sabine for what her mother said, that she was done with her and ended transmission. And because of this, she took of her Mandalorian Vambraces and her jetpack off, that she's throwing away half of her Madalorian pride, repainted her armor, and diyn her hair again, also cut it short to be like Ezra's. With this, she becomes the Protector of Lothal, as wields Ezra's lightsaber and her blasters to protect against the Galactic Empire, smugglers, bandits, and pirates. Then, one day after the Battle of Endor, Sabine meets Luke Skywalker and told him the story about Ezra saving his friends, his people, and his planet from the Galactic Empire. Hearing this story and knowing how much Sabine cares for Ezra, Luke decided to her Sabine find Ezra, by going to a planet that Darth Sidious has stash some Jedi relics. It's there he meets Del Meeko as they work together until Luke finds the Jedi compass, so that Luke can help Sabine and Ahsoka find Ezra, thus leading to the new animated series.

'Rebels' Spin-off material would be better off being covered by novels [covering Ahsoka {story picking up after A World between Worlds},Sabine & Ezra {both stories picking after Family Reunion & Farewell}] & comics [2 comics per month covering the search for Ezra] leading up to Ep, IX...thus removing Ezra & Sabine from being Rey's parents...so Ezra will be found 15 [AANH] when Rey is born.

Books & comics cover more than on screen material...I expect the search for Ezra last that long...that's where the idea of 3 separate novels [following the 3 paths] & 2 comics a month [following the search for Ezra] came from.

Wow! Those were some great ideas. I loved the concept of Sabine fighting the black sun. What I'd love is a series that follows a single protagonist throughout the season, with the completion of that story arc, then moving on to a new protagonist the next season with a new and/or entangled story. This way we can get a wide variety of stories about a large number of characters over only a few years. For example: Season one about Ezra, Season 2 Sabine, Season 3 Lor San Tekka is the protagonist, the next maybe is Luke ect.

I would love to see a Kallus spin off series. With him completing missions for the rebellion as a spy, like 007. You could also see him retrieve his Bo-rifle and him returning to Lothal to retrieve it, so then we could meet up with Sabine and how she is coping with the responsibility of Lothal. I just really love Kallus and I think that he has a lot more to give! Also I just want to say that I have subscribed recently and I love your content and all of your theories, keep up the good work!

Basically it boils down to him unstanding the meta better than anyone else right now and if ryan johnson had anywhere as much love for the franchise then tlj would be completely different film.. I would love to sit down and quiz johnson on how many times he has actually watched star wars, just so icould figure out why the fuck he did what he did.. Iblame kennedy if im honest.. I've thought about the question of the day before, and I thought that I wanted him to focus on the gap between the original and sequel trilogies. But the more I thought of it, the more I realised that the Aftermath novels have already done that, and that I actually want him to base his trilogy prior to the fall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Galactic Republic (1000 years prior to the prequels). The one thing I love about how the Star Wars universe is structured is that the saga trilogies are a framework for the universe, and the anthology movies, TV series, comics, novels, and now games are the facade that fleshes everything out. The prequels showed us what life was like during the Republic, the original trilogies showed us life during the Empire, and the sequels showed us what life is like during the rise of the First Order. Writers can create their own works set in the different time periods to expand on what the saga trilogies have shown us. But what we don't have is an idea of what life in the galaxy was like prior to the Mandalorians sacking the Jedi Temple and stealing the darksabre during the fall of the Old Republic. I want his trilogy to show us how the Old Republic was different from the Galactic Republic, as well as how the Jedi Order was different during that time. More importantly, I want him to show us how the Sith were different from the current Sith, as I really doubt that Sidious was anything like a typical Sith Lord. And I'm big enough to admit that a part of the reason I want this is so that the Bioware games of Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars: The Old Republic are completely relegated to Legends and never made canon. I am REALLY sick of Revan, and I am less than pleased with what Bioware has done with the Star Wars license. As far as I'm concerned, they no longer deserve to have their work officially recognised. But I've been known to harbour a grudge...

Speaking of the black sun, it would be cool if Sabine and Ketsu had help from the Mandalorians (possibly introduced to Ketsu's clan?) to deal major damage to the black sun during the OT, and they end up winning over heaps of the Black Sun's riches, which contributes to the development of capital city on Lothal?

I hope the Ryan Johnson trilogy is about the explorers of the unknown regions. The plot can be about a rag tag group trying to win fame and glory from discovering new species and objects. But along the way they deal with the empire, the chiss ascendancy, dangerous creatures, and more.

To me it would kinda make sense that Ahsoka encounter's Luke. Someone needs to guide him to #1) Find his Kyber Crystal #2) Actually build a lightsaber. As she's guided younglings to do with Yoda back in TCW. Also, she at this point has faced Vader and saw there was still Anakin inside but maybe where she couldn't bring him back his son could.

My personal idea/favorite would be the next series covering a span of ten years +/- but switching perspectives per seasons or arc etc. But I would love for the 1st episode to start with Ahsoka continuing down the steps at the malachor temple and show her 3ish years before rebels finale then switch to ezra thrawn for OT period (next 4 years) dynamic duo adventure hopefully finally have the last 3 years be set after ep 6 have sabine/ahsoka meet up then maybe meet with luke/lor san tekka independently and finale is those 4 meeting up with ezra/thrawn and the 7th fleet and they can have some big battle with the "dark presence" in the UR Sorry for the long one Force Within TV!

I have an idea for a new series, not exactly a spin-off, but kind of like a... Deja-Vou of rebels. (And also I've been dying to tell it) So, it follows a young girl through her life as she uncovers the secrets of her past and all that fun stuff, but it takes place mainly on Lothal, and during the time that the Rebels are away(The planet does not go down THAT fast, they were probably away for about a year). She meets a crew of other people like her, and they team up to fight the Empire. Like and reply if you would like to see something like this.

Here's something I've been thinking about for a while. It relates to both Clone Wars and Rebels. We know that some clone legions are referred to by numbers (501st, 212th etc.), but there are also some with actual names, specifically the Wolf-Pack, led by the jedi, Plo Koon. We also know that the Loth-wolves have a deep connection with the force. My point is: Is it possible that Plo Koon knew about the wolves and when the Clone Wars started, named the Wolf-Pack after them? I understand it might be unlikely and I may just be thinking that because of the Wolf-Pack reference in the Rebels finale, but it might be something worth bringing up in a future video.

Now I believe that we would get another animation this year but it would not be advertised to take any attention away from Solo. They might start the series in the summer break and wrap up the First 2 seasons to actually get into dept with the series. Just pay attention to the First two seasons in Rebels. This is where the characters are developed to use in major seasons. In rouge one it is likely that in the Ghost there was only Hera and probs Zeb with Rex or Jacen. Sabine would still be on Lothol. But for all the time she is on lothol she would have done some art with her armor. I wonder if this could be a signal of anything. Also where exactly was the painting of everyone in the finale.

I know it would never happen but depending on how 9 ends what about a trilogy set a couple of hundred years after episode 9 in the future where peace reigns through the galaxy and this time instead of the a story of the Jedi rebirth it's a story of the Sith.
