I think you guys made a fun little animation here that obviously doesn't take itself too seriously. And I kinda like the freedom that comes with that. like R2 burning Mace's Robe, or Mace not sensing R2 flying Anakins ship into him clearly would never happen in a real movie, but it works here and is very funny to see. At the same time, I also like that you managed to capture how Mace is not afraid to use Dark Side Powers (like Force Choking at 3:10). It shows that you guys understand the characters and what they are capable of and willing to do, when pushed to the limit. With that being said: What I want to see is not so much a physical fight (which is the whole point of this series), but a discussion between Mace Windu and Revan about usage of the Dark Side of the Force in battle. I want to hear Mace try to explain to Revan where he draws the line when it comes to that and vice versa I want to hear Revan try to "convince" Mace, that there shouldn't be any division between the Light vs. Dark Side Powers.

I belive Anakin would have defeated Mace Windu it was also heavely implied in one of the clone wars animated episodes where Mace and Anakin go on a mission together that Anakin is the stronger one...but Mace would win a hand to hand combat without lightsabers or force powers

13/10 on the musical score alone. What a masterpiece. completely captures the story, no words needed. There's so much nuance in the music telling of different imagery, from little flutters of strings as r2 gets in the ship to the big suspenseful builds while they are 'powering up' etc. amazing.

Would be cool to see an animated version of Anakin Vs. Serra Keto in the Jedi Temple when the clones are attacking it, which then switches to Anakin Vs. Cin Drallig when he wakes up from his meditation and realises what’s happening after Clone Troopers storm in to his chamber like the 'FBI open up!' meme or something, lol. This was a great animation! I laughed when they began punching one another, and R2 rammed the Starfighter into Mace 😆

Overall, I like this. The animation is great, and the nods of humor are good. That said, if this is going to be in the vein of Celebrity Death Match, then I believe there needs to be completely insane, almost senseless fighting/violence and there needs to be sharp and witty dialogue. That's what I remembered and loved about the CDM episodes...the banter and violence were so over the top they were funny. But there could be some classic matchups here and it is a great premise and start to something that could be really special to the fandom! Great work!

Fun! The 3D elements fit in really well and the glows on the 2D characters are a really nice touch. Style-wise, I'd say the mouths could be improved a little and stroke width consistency could be increased in areas (eg. lines appear pretty thin on lightsabers and questioned whether they were photos until the close-ups). Saying that, I can't wait for more. I'd personally love to see a non-sensical match-up like Ki-Adi-Mundi vs Darth Sion; the possibilities with these are endless. Great stuff Theory

Dude, the space scene felt great, man! This has gotten really good, I was being skeptical about the comedy/entertainment aspect, but it turned out great. Plus, you're hitting that kind of Star Wars flair pretty well, keep up the good work, Theory! Some kind of crazy battle like Revan vs. Yoda might be nice to watch, but there might be better suggestions. ^^

I really love it. A few comments of constructive critism (my opinion, feel free to do what you want) 1) I feel there is a lot of pause time where they move slowly or wait doing nothing before or in between attacks. In intense fights (such as maul vs obi and qui gon, anakin obi wan) this wouldnt happen unless something forces it to (like ray sheilds blocking or lava rain) they would continue persuing until they get the win. In fights like vader vs luke or sidous vs yoda this does happen, and it is clear that vader was going easy on luke and palpatine was having fun just messing with yoda and was a bit crazy. This fight seemed more intense so I think it makes sense (and would be more entertaining) if they would have persued eachother aggressivly. 2) The punching scene was awesome, but didn't make much sense fight wise. Mace punched anakin, which was fine, but then anakin closed his lightsaber for no reason to punch mace. He shouldve left it open (and maybe not punched). Mace couldve just easily chopped ani's head off right there instead of getting punched in the face. Then mace put his blade down for no reason. I love the punching, I just think it should happen because they lost their lightsabers (like in ani vs obi in episode 3), instead of randomly closing them. 3) Adding a little dialog, even 3 sentences, in the beggining could add a lot to the video. The voices dont need to be good at all, just the fact that the character says a cool line to other character about why theyre going to fight and you hear their tone of voice (angry, excited, scared, calm) adds a ton and gives a feel to the fight. Anyways, i dont mean to hate, I love the concept and will continue to watch these skits regardless. Thanks! Also, Hulk vs Vader can be cool :)

I absolutely dig the animation style. I also love the premise, this is what the fandom wants. Thanks for doing what you do. I think the comedy is really important, I’m glad they aren’t serious matchups. If you ever do the versus battles with Josh with non Star Wars characters you should make those serious and badass. Pre-vizsla vs Din Djarin would be fun to see Personally I feel vizsla is far better since he has more control over the darksaber and pairs his various gadgets and weapons with it to enhance his ability with it But I've seen people say the opposite and say that din has shown to be better in combat Would love to see your take on it

This was really cool, really shows how evenly matched Anakin and Mace are. The punching scene was hilarious. I do, however, think the inclusion of dialogue would make it 10 times better, it doesn't need to be a voice actor or anything, Theory could just do his impressions. Also I still think we should either see: Yarael Poof vs. Anyone, or Thrawn with a lightsaber vs. Anyone.

Loved this! Animation was fantastic, fight was entertaining and I hope you continue to make more of these. I personally don't think Anakin would have won against Mace, he is gifted but so is Mace and he's much more experienced and a better swordsman. Also Anakin would most likely slip up because of his arrogance not to mention Mace's vaapad would play a factor since Anakin would tap into his emotions when fighting opponents. It would be cool to have a little dialogue, not a lot because it would take away from the fight, but maybe a little while the two opponents are fighting. Still fantastic work and I hope you continue to make more of these.

Fantastic! If I get to recommend anything, I'd say that it would be cool to see some kind of stats that the characters have in the beginning. You could have Anakin with 10 attack 8 focus 9 defend Something like that.

The talent and the potential is there, and with time clear improvements for scebe transitions and buildup but everything is feeling like a pilot but it's a good one! *Music helps a lot in certain scenarios that gives it more crescendo for it.* But I honestly say in under 1 hour of upload its getting good feedback? My suggestions: try having the blows come quicker (think clone wars speed) to help it be an exaggerated style. The fighter crashing Mace was th perfect example. If the ante keeps being upped, the funnier/greater the payoff will be. Also, the more different situations or settings you can place them will increase the fight's possibilities. Good animation style! Sound and music spot on.

Great pilot. Extra things I’d like to see would be: - some verbal insults at the beginning and end like they used to have in RoS versus mode. - voice over during the battle such as basic grunts and voicing of frustration - maybe a tekken style power bar and/or indicator that someone is about to use a power move

I think it would be cool to see Cal Kestis vs Ezra Bridger in some sort of lightsaber/blaster duel. visually this thing looks great! im an animator myself and am actually curious about the materials used but what i didnt like was the verbal "im ready" or "k.o" chants. it just took me out of what was actually going on. i also think there could be voice lines for the characters too just to add in a bit of spice. i liked how you added the enviorment around you to help fight too. but overall is was a soild 7/10 👍

That was really cool! I love the comedic side of it too. R2 is kinda over powered, truth be told. I tried to come up with some crazy combinations (suggestions) but they were pretty meh, even at best. I'm sure many people here in the comments will throw some really awesome combinations, so I look forward to this series to continue! It's also nice to see how much you have expanded your channel. I remember way back watching your fan-fictions and what if videos. Keep up the good work man!

Loved this video! My only critiques would be to maybe have some voice acting and dialogue. The animation looked great and it was super fun to watch. A fun way to get more attention to the videos too and get more fan involvement could be to have the fans vote on who would win the fight too. Just let the fans know ahead if time before or while you are working on the project and that could affect that outcome. Great work though!
