52:14... there is a deleted part of the ROTS script about how Obi-Wan went to Padme’s house and he told her that “he’s not blind” about her and Anakin’s relationship and that he’s tried to be for their sake. He said “Anakin has loved you ever since he laid his eyes on you. He hasn’t even tried to hide it”, he also says “ And I was happy too, because it made him happy, you made him happy when nothing else really could”. I wish George had kept this in the script to add some depth and show more of Anakin and Obi-Wans brotherhood. Like so theory can see this please

The dialogue sure sounds like something George would write. Not anything wrong with that, but from those lines alone I can tell it was originally made by George. But a scene like that would’ve been great, especially since in Clone wars It becomes painfully obvious how much Anakin loved Padme, to the point where it creates a glare from Obi-Wan whenever Anakin oversteps and calls her Padme instead of Senator Amidala.

Since Satine was introduced in TCW, I always thought that this is why Obi-Wan didn't talk to the Council about Anakin and Padmé. Once Obi-Wan even told Satine that he would have left the Order had she ever asked. And seeing Satine after so many years, I think he had some level of regret and he didn't want Anakin to feel that way or to deprive him from that kind of happiness.

I would love a new animated show set about 3-5 years before TPM. Set up more of the relationship of Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, delve deeper into Palpatines backstory and his journey, show us Dooku during his time in the Order and up to the point where he decides to leave. So much to explore in that era.

Great interview and questions. So awesome to see Theory able to get people like James Arnold Taylor, Sam Witwer and Ashley Eckstein on his channel. Though, I would personally feel awkward asking a voice actor to do his characters on demand, as I'm sure they get asked by fans to do them all the time, like a circus monkey or something, but JAT was a gracious enough guy to do them all.

In regard to the question "Why didn't Obi Wan tell about Anakin's relationship," I personally believe it's because that's what Obi Wan wishes he could have had with Duchess Satine, and he simply sympathizes with his brother and student.

That would be really awesome if they interviewed various Star Wars authors. Unfortunately some of the original classics are no longer with us like Aaron Allston but interviewing Zahn, James Luceno, or Michael A. Stackpole for example could be very exciting especially cause many of their works were created either before or when the prequels were being made. Essentially they (among others) really helped to keep the Star Wars name alive and gave fans new adventures mainly set post Return of the Jedi. That said I'm not sure how many of their Star Wars works both Theory & Mark are familiar with.

6:00 As an amateur voice actor myself, yeah, this is 100% on the money. Most of the time, our ability doesn't come out of nowhere. We're imitating characters as kids that we see on TV, or learning 'archetype' voices from comedians like George Carlin. I realized I could do voices well when I figured out how to do Kermit the Frog at the age of 9. From there it's snowballed and now I have done work for a couple of indie game titles.
