I have had the Eun sweater in my favorites for a while and had never seen the Yoga sweater before. I LOVE it! The taper is so unique. I'd pick that one - your sequin sweater will be so special!

I love the collar of the Yoga sweater! I think the gold would be very festive, but the rainbow would be cool too.

I vote silver sequins with the white-ish yarn for the straight split hem sweater. The silver and white would remind me of a feshly fallen sparkly snow since I'm OVER summer. The Grocery Girls chat fairly often about that sequin yarn, and I think Tracy, has knit at least one basic sweater with sequin yarn held with another yarn and it turned out GORGEOUS!!!

I personally feel the yoga sweater has a bit more of that Holiday vibe with the unique shaping at the split hem!

I have never heard of the yoga sweater but it looks really cool. I have the Eun sweater on my to-knit list and If I finish my fall sweaters that is definitely going to be in my needles.

I'm late to this video and voting, but my vote is for the Yoga sweater! I knit the Eun and I LOVE it, but I feel like the Yoga sweater lends itself slightly more to "festive/dressy".

I really like Eun’s edges on the split hem, and the shoulder detailing! Sequin-wise I would personally pass on the multi for a more classic holiday silver or gold vibe. Maybe deciding based on what color metal you wear most in jewelry would help?

Hi,I’m just catching this now. As to what sweater you should make… If I had hips, I would not be making that first sweater due to that feature of the sweater, why make the hips look bigger? The E-un sweater is a great one to make and make modifications. My LYS did a month on it and the varieties were amazing! I do like the neck of the first one , it looks like some other patterns with the wide neck. I would go with the E-un. I thought you said the yarn was already worsted? As for the sequin yarn, it will depend on what you would like the sweater to be worn with. Although, Tracey of GG, made her in a rainbow sequin and a plain sweater is now very festive !! Tough choice. Great to see you again.

I would definitely choose the Eun. The tapering on the Yoga Winter Sweater would be unflattering on ANY body shape, IMO.

Great video, as usual, Kendra! Firstly, you can’t go wrong with the Calderon. I knitted that cardigan a couple of years ago and count it as one of my favorite makes of all time. The textured details are so impressive (I particularly the love the sides). I like the idea of frogging that sweater (I am a serial frogger, btw) . I lean towards the Eun sweater, only because I don’t love turtlenecks, but it is true that you can customize the Yoga sweater. Also, I have noticed that when I have long slits on the sides of my sweaters, I get caught on door handles LOL. My vote in terms of sparkle yarn to use would be the gold, but I love warmer toned colors. If you lean more cool, then the silver is fantastic. Happy Autumn 🍂

I think if you're going to be adventurous with adding a little sparkle to your sweater than be adventurous and do the Yoga sweater. It may be trendy but you're young enough to pull it off! Not sure whether you watch the grocery girls but they're last 2 or 3 episodes they have shown various lace weight sequin and sparkle yarn in various patterns, might be worth checking out.

Re the Calderon, depending on where you live, you might want to lengthen the sleeves. Where I live, if it’s cold enough for a heavy wool sweater, it’s too cold to have 1/4 of your arms exposed. I have a couple 3/4 sleeve sweaters that will last forever because it’s only the correct temperature for them about two weeks a year. It looks cozy, but I have to warn about the sleeves!

Eun is a safer option: the high side split is interesting enough to make it special and extra interesting, while it is classic enough to be timeless. Yoga is much riskier, you might not love it as much as you think, and even if you do, you might not love it forever - on some project photos it looks like a bodysuit unbuttoned at the crotch and pulled out of your pants :-)

You do make me laugh…. With a complete feeling of “kindred spirit”… I’ve just come back to knitting after 30 years and the scary development of my stash is BEGGING me to knit faster. And one project (in a bag for 30years - eek) is destined for frogging, washing and re knitting. Cashmere - can’t afford that these days!!
