I’m pretty sure skein just means like “portion of yarn sold as one unit”. So you’d use the word to say how many skeins of yarn something takes. Hank refers to that folded twist shape specifically. TLDR: all hanks are skeins but not all skeins are hanks. 😊🥰

@@midsummerknits I just looked it up - I was wrong! A hank is indeed that twisty thing but google is saying that a skein is also a shape: that “ball” oval shape of yarn that you typically see at a craft store. I feel like knitters always just use skein when referring to the twists? Oy vey, who knows!

aw thank you so much 🥹 but yes i got it from home depot!! they have big pieces of peg board and you can ask them to cut it to a specific size too!

You can make a cumulus blouse with Suri held single! I made an XS (I have a 33” bust for reference) and still had about 4 grams left over after cropping the body to 11”
