Cryoclasm is partially bugged right now, just like amplified. Sliding sometimes just doesn't get the full slide distance. With amplified its almost always the first slide. With cryoclasm it seems very random. If its fixed I think it can be good, since you could accelerate very fast from almost a stand still. Bungie is aware of the bug, they replied to a post about it on the help forums.

Hey Cammy, if you read this, your win @ 11:40 could’ve been had by blocking line of sight. If a stasis crystal or ice wall is put between the guardian & the ‘knife’ when they’re about to teleport, & only after choosing they’re teleport location, can you then throw a crystal & it will interrupt & stop them from teleporting entirely.

I've been having a lot of fun with Lancecap and Wicked Implement surprisingly enough. 3rd crit slows, 4th crit kills, and the killing shot will spawn a crystal (Headstone) and also do a slow burst with the artifact perk (crit kills on slow/frozen creates a slowing burst). Fun against teams that like to hold hands a lot! :)

The issue with cryoclasm is it just doesn't work.. 50 percent of the time. Burning my slide into a wall so I can use a normal slide is fine imo, but it not working makes is suck major ass.

With the way crucible works in comp, IB, etc. the increase in DMG is considered a buff so instead of 70 with a 140 hc, I do 81. As soon as I die it drops to 70 again. It sucks with weighted knife cuz if I die and still get a headshot, it does 212 and doesn't kill

I’ve got an Athrys’s loving duo and a friend that loves Shadebinder so I normally run tectonic to set them up. If I was to use Diamond Lance loadout I’d like to get the nightfall stasis sword and maybe the updated Something New if I’m not running Stay Frosty or Prolonged Engagement. Til then I’m Enjoying Pure Poetry with Swash on shiver tech’d or frozen targets and Fire and Forget & Forget in the heavy slot.

fairly certain nobody knew about this tech last season, but the one artifact perk for radiant on rapid solar weapon precision hits would somehow count as like 4x on BXR and some other weapons and you were able to place your mini-wall, hit 3 headshots to get a diamond lance, but it would also proc radiant from the artifact mod. Won multiple 1v3s with this build in trials and this would always be my fallback build inside trials if I got terrible teammates.

Stasis is still my favourite Subclass, I am GLUED to Renewal Revenant & Bakris in PVP 😄 Osmiomancy Shadebinder got to a point I actually got bored of playing Warlock! I had so much fun with it, got really good at being an annoying dick in PVP & abusing the Turrets in PVE I wanted to swap, but then nothing else felt right! I've gone about as heavy into Stasis as I can possibly go! Bold Endings, Tessellation, I need to find a Stasis Heavy GL/LMG maybe with Collective Action! Armamentarium with Tessellation is awesome as you can still have a secondary Grenade ready! The Catty slows or shatters enemies around the one you hit Grenade comes back almost immediately! Elemental Charge + Kickstarts tops it off! C.A literally on demand! Cryoclasm might have been messed with but I still make it work smashing enemies, glaciers collecting all the Stasis Shards for damage buffs etc etc. I think because I haven't used it in forever & I really went ALL in on the build it just feels fun & different so I'm enjoying way more.

Pretty low now since most of the reasons you’d want to use it have been removed. Armamentarium achieves the same thing but better nowadays whilst still letting you keep your regular barricade to insta shatter crystals with.

"tech" isn't shorthand for "technology" it's short for "technique"

In gaming since as far back as the 90s if not further, 'tech' actually _has been_ shorthand for 'technology' this whole time. Old, old videos and forum threads used the full word instead of shortening, especially among fighting games. I think this gets into an interesting note on what the actual word technology even means; the application of knowledge for practical purposes. (It's just that in modern times, we tend to _think_ of technology as what it often refers to, computers, machines, devices etc.)
