You hit it correctly on that one. I love the CRKT squid for it's simplicity and price. You're right with the QC but price is fine. This one, like the premium materials and overall look but the price is at least $100 too much for a production knife of this size. $175-$200 more like it. Damasteel version, I understand the big price jump, but not for Titanium, M390 framelock for that size. Will say the same thing about the Spyderco Stovepipe and it's $100 more!!!

Thanks for reviewing! The design is nice but for my actual needs and the price, I don't see myself picking this one up. I'll stick with my ersatz crkt squid.

Wow, it ain't perfect but thats the knife the Squid was supposed to be, lol. Its cool to see a premium version. I agree with you on the price. Wish all the good budget designs would get this treatment.

That’s what I was looking for in a squid very nice indeed until that price popped out that’s where I nearly spat my teeth out lol I can see why they still had some left for sure. Way over the top I my eyes but they’re my eyes plus it’s only money so if you like it and got it then go for it, that’s one thing i hate is people trying to tell others what they do with their own money. But for me my money would jump up and slap me if I went for one at that price for what you actually get😂 have a beautiful day Stassa23 stay safe and healthy brother 😘👍

I mean these days, $325 for a knife like that is just ridiculous. I mean what about this knife is better or more “quality” then a TRM, we knife, or a MBK. It’s just silly. At this rate, in 5 years, your run of the mill ti frame lock will be $350 or more.
