@@rustyshackleford5331 it’s about 80% it’s the cold that always does it to me especially the back. I really need to have surgery but I just can’t handle being in a hospital for long it does more harm than good mentally so I figure I will wait it out as long as possible till I can’t function 🍻🍻

So many new knives! Mini Iridium is an exclusive, they always keep a nice version for just themselves it seems! At $199 though I decided to go with the new We Knife Bougie Banter instead, the Kershaw billboarding was just too much for me. I do love the Iridium in 14C28N and Topo aluminum handle. The ridges give it some nice grip and a great look.

This was a fantastic overview. You do such an impressive job reviewing knives. I have two knives on my must acquire for 2025 and the spiderco in rex121 is one of them. Can’t wait to see how you handle that one. The shark cub nano is the other, but I fully expect a review of that from you too, Demko would be nuts to not send you one to test.

Let’s hope they are close to the truth on this steel, something beyween 154cm and cpm154 both of which I really like, a spray form 154 sounds great. It could be my new favorite budget steel. And a huge thank you to cjrb for finally putting out what I always want in a folder, contoured micarta with a satin or polished blade finish. I can’t do the coated blade thing.

The ZT uses Ti on one side, the button is steel, but the "collar" is ti.

@stassa23 when you review the Kershaw autos can you please test deploying them with gloves on. I had to modify my Launch 16 because it’s impossible to deploy with any glove on because the button is nearly flush. I couldn’t even find the button barehanded without looking at the knife. My fingers have too much callous and I couldn’t even feel the button.

I know this is an eternal 'cats and dogs' thing, but..🤔 we see the ZT Automatic deploy...nice, but with a bit of the Auto 'kick' when it locks open. 😐 Okay, then we see the deployment action of the Big Idea Ti2..😑 your call, but to me it looks like the Big Idea not only gives the magic and neuance of manual deployment, but is faster...just saying...✨😼

These micartas are leaps and bounds ahead of those colors they had going on. Besides I think we all can agree G10 is boring now. Especially with these mediocre grips they have. It’s not a hard no for me, because sometimes they do a nice job with color or texture, but yeah I agree with you generally. They often look unfinished which is a deal breaker.
