If Mankind were ever to have an unified anthem, it would be this, in this beautiful orchestral anthem. It feels mighty, inspirational. You can feel the struggle, the pain, the sacrifices of the human race all over the sad melody, and yet, it has a very uplifting, awesome, powerful vibration, that just... makes you want to charge against any difficulty or enemy. Beautiful.

Even if you hate communism - as I do - the Soviet anthem is a bold, powerful song, and I admire it for that reason.
@TheGreatSovietUnion210 жыл бұрын
Why do you hate Communism? Do you know what it is? The Soviet Union was not Communist if thats what you were thinking. But still I strongly respect your ability to say something positive about something you may disagree with or do not understand, that takes brains and shows you are reasonable. For that I thank you. And would also agree, yes, this is such a powerful song.
@HolyKhaaaaan10 жыл бұрын
Communism is something akin to what the Apostles and their followers did in the early Church (cf. Acts 4:32). The difference, however, between communism and Christianity is that Christians are too humble - that is, honest - to think they can do this on the sole motivation of human goodwill, the utopian ideal, and other such nonsense.
@arturefimov10 жыл бұрын
Rejean Rivard Soviet Union was a pure communist country. And that is what I like. I was born in USSR and its spirit, its ideals are still in my hart. I also know a lot about that time and I know 99% of bad information you know about USSR is a lie or a myth. Only communism, only leninism can save the world from disappearing.
@HolyKhaaaaan10 жыл бұрын
It taught one lie no man can stomach: that man can make a utopia by his own efforts. You only need to read the newspapers or watch the TV news to see that.
@TheGreatSovietUnion210 жыл бұрын
Артур Ефимов Point taken, but still, even though that may be what they taught you in school, and sure it may have inspired early Soviet thinkers and all Soviet philosophers, the U.S.S.R. was in fact NOT Communist, It was State-Capitalist, and philosophically Nationalist. (State Capitalism - Is where the State plays the role of the Capitalist through investing, planning, and distributing of capital and assets). But I do agree with you when you say that 99% of negatives said about the U.S.S.R. are false. Its true. A month ago, mom told me she thought the U.S.S.R. didnt have household appliances -_- A classmate of mine said they had no cars :P OBVIOUSLY bull.

This... this is humanity's anthem. Beyond the worship of God, beyond the worship of ideologies and beyond the worship of money. Only when humankind will evolve beyond those worships and be able to realize the true value of another human life, will we be worthy of an anthem whose beauty needs no words to speak.
