I moved states and my practical exam won't count in my new state. I've been licensed for 11 years and haven't ever worked in a salon. I have to re take the state board practical in my new state and I will use your video for studying! It's incredible, thank you from the bottom of my heart for this informative video and for the other one!!!

You're Welcome and we wish you great success at your state board exams. Which state are you preparing for? There may be some small differences as NIC had made changes to the exams. However, the testing company may not have implemented the changes yet. CosmoReady is in the process of updating several videos based on the recent changes.

@@CosmoReady Idaho is my new state. Thank you for your info! I have the booklet on Idaho, but there's no Idaho specific videos out there. Studying on my own has been a challenge and I'll take all the assistance I can get. Thank you!

@@Riches2Rural You're in luck!! I just checked and Idaho is the same as our current Cosmetology Client 1 & 2 demo videos. The only difference is now you must use disinfectant wipes. If you need a kit, we also sell state board kits. You can find out more at www.cosmoready.com.

@@CosmoReady WOW! Awesome!! Thank you. Funny you mention the kit, I recently bought all the supplies for the kit and just started putting it together. Do you have a video that goes over the kit?

@Riches2 Rural At this time I do not have a video for packing kits, but that's a great idea. I have a few other projects going right now, but I could probably have a video online by the end of May. Please reach out to me via our Contact Page: cosmoready.hairpronetwork.com/contact-us

Thank you very much for the video. In order to transfer my license to Montana I need to take a practical exam. I graduated from a cosmetology school almost 20 years ago so I have so many questions... Should I bring just one mannequin head? Or I need one mannequin head for eyebrow waxing?
@CosmoReady Жыл бұрын
Great question. You can use the same mannequin for the hair removal task as you have for your other skill demonstrations. It looks like Montana updated their hair removal skill demo and now follows the version noted in this video description. If you need a test kit, you can visit our website www.cosmoready.com for details on a Montana kit. Cosmetology Kits include everything expect the hot tools. We wish you the best as you complete your practical exam.

@@CosmoReady Thank you very much. I wish I knew your website sooner.. I just got mannequin hand but I doesn't have nails attached. Should I get a new one with nails or I can glue artificial nails on it by myself. Also I found study guide for Montana candidates on your website. I will purchase it!

@@aimoore8958 Nail glue won't work on the mannequin hand. You'll need to attach the nails on the hand with acrylic. Our kits do include a hand with nails attached.

Is this the same as WA state test? Looks very similar!?
@CosmoReady2 жыл бұрын
Yes, these are the same skills. WA hair removal for Cosmetology is still to simulate Tweezing one eyebrow and Wax the other brow. WA also uses a cool iron to simulate Thermal Curling, so bring your mannequin pre-curled, then walk through the simulation as if it is a hot iron. Disinfectant wipe are now the required - be sure to have a glove on your hand when using your disinfectant wipe. I would suggest taping a bag of gloves to your disinfectant wipe container so you remember to put a glove on.
