State Capture Inquiry makes one wonder how many contracts were given to airlines and how much money was paid for consulting and approval of tenders ar SAAT. It appears to me that all tenders given to companies by the HOD should be investigated ! As a layperson watching HOD giving evidence makes the mind boggle.

Jackie Bonhomme as a person who left South Africa some 15 years ago and watching this from afar, it is too awful to watch this commission dealing with incompetent corrupt people who obfuscate the issues. As a spectator it is quite clear what the evidence shows and what the lead is asking. , and the evasive tactics of the person. If they were all like Agrizzi it would be easy as at least he admitted to being a crook. This woman is but the tip of the BEE iceberg. He could extend the life of the commission to being a permanent one, and it’s still wouldn’t get below the surface of what is going on.

Listening to her evidence and comments, it is hard to believe that ms Memela is an advocate.

It would seem that is her preferred tactic. She is very competent though. She wants to come off as "confused"
