I noticed something, most of the people calling Adv. Mpofu " foolish " or a " fool " present nothing rational backing up the claims or attacks. Having said that, I believe that everyone has their right to claim and attack an individual so long as it in respectable manner. I cannot stand here and judge wether those who are calling Mpofu " foolish " to be in the right or wrong. But since this is a public platform, it is to be expected then to have some of us trying to understand the nature of these claims or attacks! Albeit the fact that there are names that seem to be of an African descent attacking the advocate, it occurs to me that, the rest ( majority ), are names that of Indian and European descent. One wonders if the attackers of the Advocate on thIs platform, particularly those of Indian and European descent are doing so because there is some rationality behind the attacks or if at all they maybe racially fueled? This is an honest question. Can someone help me out of my misery?

Tribalism and racially spurred despise. The purpose of Mpofu here was to cross examine the witness. Witness credibility is part of that process, yet zondo refuses this form of questioning. I see the Indian community standing behind gordhan's evading the questions even within the proper format and scope (where applicable), and they justify this by critiquing the Advocate. Laughable in the least, but at most, a poor...poor understanding of the legal processes. The Caucasian community here attack Mpofu based on his referral to the racism issue. When Gerrie Nel phrases his questions based on his client's recommendations, you see this as "professionalism", but because Mpofu is doing the same as per his client's recommendations, suddenly it's "unprofessional", LOL...either you're all clueless on purposes of a legal representative, or you are a bunch of hypocrites. Your despise for anything race related has blurred your intellect in respect to what a lawyer actually does, and brings to question how easily it is to control your thinking, when I simply mention race, and you lose all logic! Mpofu is doing the same job Gerrie would have done, in possibly the same manner Gerrie would have done it as well, and I wonder...if gordhan evaded the questions with him. what would your stances be?? Would you still be so critical of professionalism, or would you actually see it for what it is, evading the questions and beating about the bush. Critique this from a neutral and legal perspective. An advocate asks a question, and the witness answers it without lecturing about off topic subject matter. simple. Critique the manner in which the person answers the question without looking at whether or not they are part of your "tribe". Don't look at what colour the person asking or answering the question is. So disappointing. This isn't a you versus me issue, this a what our government has been up to. When you defend evasion of questions, you defend it in all formats. Politicians learn from each other as to what and how to evade important questions. Tomorrow, when a Melanin or Mix Malay person evades questions, you Caucasians and Indians have no right to cry foul because today, suddenly, this is allowed!

Minister Gordhan is above reproach! He is honest and honorable and it is quite obvious that Mpofu is attempting to obfuscate by creating red herrings to create a question of credibility. He is treating Minister Gordhan like a criminal when his client, Moyane is clearly the criminal. The entire scandal centres on the public protector, Jacob Zuma, Shaun Abrahams, Moyane,, and all Zuma's appointees in the complex game of state capture. Mpofu implies therefore that either there was no state capture, or that his client is innocent, which we know, he is not. Gordhan is far too honest and a brilliant man for people like Mpofu to succeed at using Gordhan as a scapegoat. \what is this issue of racism? clearly Mpofu is a racist. He placed himself above all Africans in his statment that he is "not one of those \Africans", to which Africans does he refer? He dehumanized every other African including me in his statement.
