Tithing has never worked for me. Chronic health issues combined with inflation have destroyed me financially, and I had to give up tithing a few months ago, because I couldn't keep up with the rising cost of living.

Tithing is OT. It's not commanded in the NT. Give what God has laid on your heart. Tithing does not guarantee a financial blessing. I enrolled with Trinity to eliminate my debt (and did) but did not tithe. I did give what God has laid on my heart. I just want to be Biblical not legalistic. Why teach something not commanded in the NT. We don't sacrifice animals as the Jewish people did. Just sayin'.
