I am so familiar with that sensation and my heart goes out to her❤ She's truly a wonderful human being for being vulnerable and sharing about her struggles to help other people. I wholeheartedly wish that she finally finds true healing. Stay strong Jackie 💛

Winning would not have been as advantageous, because she was free from obligations to AGT that would have been imposed upon her as the winner. She became the youngest Platinum solo artist in history with her first album 3 months after AGT, and a multi-millionaire as a recording artist and concert performer by age 12. The winner got his $1M prize in increments over a long period of time, and built his grandmother a new home. It was a win-win situation.

What a delightful young lady! When I was growing up it never crossed my mind what measuring my food intake and keeping to 1,000 calories a day in order to lose weight was doing to my bones. Jackie’s story made me realize that osteoporosis is not just an elderly disease. Eight months ago I fractured my right hip while on a simple walk on a flat sidewalk. The ball at the end of my femur was too demolished because of osteopenia (precursor to osteoporosis) that I had to have a partial hip replacement. I hope that Jackie’s mental and physical health improves 100% and that she goes on to have a long, happy life. She sings like an angel.👼 Your vlogs are excellent, Maurice. 🎉

Hey Maurice, where do we write to Vanessa? I think that's the number one guest we would all like to see on this show. Recently I came across some old scenes from 93 and 94 when I was 12 and 13. You and her were absolutely magic on screen man I've never seen an actor and actress more well paired. Definitely the Luke and Laura of the 90s. And you, well not really you but Sonny, I came across sonny when I was 12 and I was instantly hooked on the show. That gold huge onyx ring he wore back then I had one just like it. To this day I've got like 30 suits in my closet I call them corinthos suits 🤣. It wasn't all good and cute though. That character made me want to be just like him. I won't get into how or why I identified so much. Anyway I left a life 5 years ago and now I'm what you might call very religious. You actually took a moment to speak here to me in 2020 or maybe it was very early 21. I was in that quick sand we talked about and couldn't get out. Thanks again Maurice I don't have the words to tell you what that meant to me at the time. It really helped , you really helped. I've told everybody what a cool guy you really are. Anyway I'd be more than happy to write to Vanessa and try to get her to come on. I so wish they would bring her back I actually haven't watched the show since they fired Steve. If they brought Vanessa back I would definitely be tuning in man I'm telling you bro you and her are the most perfect pairing I've ever seen in any show or anything. Hope all is well with you brother.

We were all forced on this planet due to other people's decisions into a socio-economic system we never agreed to beforehand, so not to recognize that in each person is where a lot of our problems, especially in the United Corporations of America, stem from fundamentally. Many people have yet to become fully functioning adults who have the critical thinking skills to comprehend how to empathize with others who have had different lived experiences in life.

Her early voice worked for Opera Arias and Crossover, but over time she has branched out to pop, ballads, Broadway and just about anything she wants now. Platinum and Gold are based on RIAA accepted record sales. Up to 2005, many singers would qualify, but by 2010 [when Jackie started recording], personal "piracy" was so rampant, very few qualified even for Gold. RIAA is "Recording Industry Association of America". My experience? If you "Care what people think" it is usually because you feel a need to secure approval and/or your position from others. Especially 'imagined' others. Live more within yourself instead, and stop worrying too much about what OTHERS think. [Sounds like Method acting?]. Block out those voices in your head. Easy to say, hard to do - [by yourself]. Michael Grimm was well worth 1st prize of a million dollars over 40 years. Jackie was worth much more and AGT knew it. That's pretty much how things often work on AGT. They expect to have at least a Michael Grimm each season, but occasionally, they find bigger acts, and they have to treat them differently because they are worth millions right out of the chute. In 2010, there was Fighting Gravity, Prince Poppycock, and one other act that each MIGHT have been worth more, and then there was Jackie. AGT reserved the right to award placement based on their own purposes [the small print at the bottom of each week's AGT final screen] for just that reason.

Why did AGT put Jackie in its "Opera Singer" category at age 10? Why has the media promoted Jackie as an "opera singer"? Why do you call Jackie an opera singer? Why does Jackie identify herself as a Classical Crossover singer?

@@cl9786 Answers, you already should be aware of ! 1. Je performed in, for example, Got Talent Opera and other amplified Opera contexts as well. 2. As in many other music genres Opera does not require any specific training, both JE and Amira are just two examples of that fact being self taught. 3. JE classical voice definition should be Mezzo Soprano, Amira is much higher. 4. Because her voice is not loud enough for the spaces she sings at. Pavarotti and all other great Opera Singers do the same using microphones in spaces too big for their voices to fill unamplified. 5. JE sings Opera with a straight tone because that is her choice, Amira often do the same. Both JE and Amira often ends their straights with vibrato. 6. A few in the classical communtiy ALWAYS criticizes anyone who even try sing the songs they for some reason think they owns by definition. Fact is they always been wrong in their hoax they will lose their voices premature, it never happened expect their own students runing their voices and dumped into the their own, by now, full opera graveyard. 7. AGT put all their singers who uses an operatic tone in their category Opera Singer, it´s very easy to hear. 8. Plain simple, because she sounded and stills sounds like an Opera Singer and their tone. again, use your ears. 9. Not only me, because the leading music industry calls and presents her an opera singer and also many of her listeners, just use you ears and you´ll understand why. 10. It´s up to her but almost none understands what a CC singer is. People uses their ears instead and by instinct puts her in the Opera fach. Also JE stated in a video the rest of the world sees her as an Opera Singer and she is fine with that and embraces the epithet.

Jackie you have to come back to the light!!! In your eyes now I see only sadness; I do not doubt that there are people who have harassed or tormented you at one time, but there were many, many more The people who loved you; those who have almost destroyed you? They are: YOUR FAMILY!!! First of all for encouraging you to leave the classic crossover for pop, they did not think of you, they thought of having more money! And secondly for getting involved in issues of the TRANSGENDER ideology when they knew perfectly well that the bulk of your fans were not going to accept it, I am not asking you to despise your father or your mother, or your brother Jacob (because that is his name!) but you have to draw a line between them and your career, NOW; and I repeat: go back to the source! You still have time! You have a year or maybe 2, no more! From there there will be no turning back...
@cl97864 ай бұрын
"there are people who have harassed or tormented you at one time". You have no clue to what Jackie endured from those who's demands and expectations of perfection from her as a child contributed to her becoming anorexic at age 14/15. "First of all for encouraging you to leave the classic crossover for pop, they did not think of you, they thought of having more money!" First of all, Jackie has been an independent artist since she took command of her career at age 18. She answers to no one in the industry. And, no one encouraged her to leave classical crossover. She continues to perform her CC repertoire in concert. When asked why she has transitioned to pop, she said, "Classical will always have my heart, and I will always sing it, but it was time for a change. I hope you will love both". Jackie's true fans encourage her to do what she is inspired to do. She said in a recent Instagram video, "Writing and releasing my own music is something I've wanted to do for as long as I can remember......My goal for the future is that the majority of music you hear from me will be mine, because that's where the true passion is for me". Presently she is writing/composing in the Alternative Pop genre popular in the 80s. She grew up listening to that type music with her dad, and has a strong affinity for music of that era. "Its the way I write", she says. "You have a year or maybe 2, no more! From there there will be no turning back..." Jackie has no intention to turn back to what contributed to her mental illness. She is happier as an artist than she has ever been, doing what is most meaningful to her and necessary to her mental health. I'm sure Jackie doesn't appreciate you scolding her. The question to you is, will you encourage and support her long-held desire to write, compose and produce her own music? If not, then just move on.
@felicidamia12323 ай бұрын
The reason you have taken the time to answer me is because you know I'm right, Jackie's career went down the drain when she left the classic crossover, because eventually singing doesn't mean she's doing it well, she's lost excellence! and you can't compare singing for 20,000 people in Korea or for the emperor of Japan to singing in those small venues where she now sings; THAT IS PROGRESS??? WHAT PLANET DO YOU LIVE ON? And what control of his life are you talking about??? She is ANOREXIC!!! you said it yourself! I've been following Jackie since Got Talent and she became anorexic at 16. If her parents had cared more about her than about her without talent, good-for-nothing transgender brother Jacob, maybe that wouldn't have happened; and I love the story. pop music, but with that voice she's not up to those little things, it's a waste of talent!, and I have no problem with her writing her own music
@felicidamia12323 ай бұрын
@@cl9786 and finally I ask: are you so stupid that you can't see the immense sadness that is now in her eyes, at 16 when she was harassed by fame, that did not exist! she emanated light from her eyes, purity, and you know why? because the love she received from her fans was much greater! but you have to understand that love is something RECIPROCAL!!! Jackie stopped giving love and stopped receiving it, when she stopped singing what her great majority of fans liked, when she changed her way of dressing, of making up and started with those transgender ideas to support a brother, that I am 100% sure that from her, he only wants her money

@@felicidamia1232 ("And what control of his life are you talking about??? She is ANOREXIC!!! you said it yourself! I've been following Jackie since Got Talent and she became anorexic at 16..... If her parents had cared more about her than about her without talent, good-for-nothing transgender brother Jacob, maybe that wouldn't have happened...") You haven't listened to what Jackie has been saying since she opened up. She was becoming anorexic by age 14, realized it at 15, tried to keep it hidden until her parents recognized a problem and confronted her with the eating disorder which led to her being diagnosed at age 17. She announced it on ABC News at age 18. "Control of her life" means that at age 18, when she took command of her career, her music and her image, she was no longer dictated to by the industry whom she has confronted as responsible for her developing an eating disorder and continual struggle with perfectionism. Her original song, "Get Out of My Life" is a confrontational song directed to those who had imposed enormous pressure upon her to be perfect in every respect from the time she was 10 years old. Listen to her Facebook video explaining why she wrote the song. It's headlined, "Recently I’ve discovered something that I had all along…my voice. I want to take my power back, be bold when facing my past demons and share what I learn through my music. Being imperfect is perfectly ok, and that’s exactly how this song came to be." (KZbin won't post a link). Moreover, she was continually frustrated while recording for the industry, denied creative input for her music, ignored for her own ideas of what she wanted to record and perform, when she knew she had so much to offer. She was pressured unreasonably to be the perfect little angel. That's what her song "Pedestal" (at age 15) was about....a protest against being idolized as some kind of goddess of perfection. Under the thumb of the industry, she was silently frustrated, and by age 14 had already been experiencing an eating disorder along with mental and emotional stress trying to measure up to impossible expectations from the industry, the media and fans as well. Never was it a matter of her parents making such demands or having such expectations. Jackie has always been grateful to her parents for their guidance, keeping her "grounded" and doing their best to provide a reasonably normal childhood as a star, treating her with equal attention, love and concern for her as for her siblings. ("Jackie stopped giving love and stopped receiving it, when she stopped singing what her great majority of fans liked, when she changed her way of dressing, of making up and started with those transgender ideas to support a brother, that I am 100% sure that from her, he only wants her money") That's absurd. There's no one more loving than Jackie. She often expresses her love for her fans and appreciation of their support and encouragement, especially in concerts where she can interact with them and show her gratitude. What are you whining about? You ought to listen to what Jackie says about how she soaks up the love expressed for her by her fans and how much it means to her. Furthermore, Jackie hasn't stopped singing what her fans liked, still performing her cc repertoire. "Transgender ideas"? Jackie has known her older sister (then Jacob) was inclined toward being a girl from childhood, and has always loved her with devotion, was happy and proud for her when she finally came out publicly at age 17 after being miserable all her childhood having to act and look like a boy. Juliet lives independently in Washington DC, has her own career as a fashion model, happily in a relationship and supporting herself. Well, you go on feeling sorry for yourself while Jackie continues to enjoy doing what she has really wanted to do since she was 10 years old, genuinely happier than she's ever been. I'm not saying that she isn't still suffering, it's apparent she is, because anorexia is a life-long battle. And her fans are proud and happy for her, encouraging and supportive of her new venture into songwriting. They also continue to enjoy her performances in concert where she draws from all her albums plus a couple of originals in a show that offers something for everyone.
@felicidamia12323 ай бұрын
@@cl9786 You are not a fan of Jackie, you lie! And you do not know about the "abstinence to fame" that she is suffering, not because of anorexia! You have never been on stage, that's a fact! You have not even performed for 200 people!!! (I have!), and had their applause returned to you, much less received the recognition of 1,000, 5,000 or 20,000 people on stage, as she did experience, do you think that can be compared to a small stage full of bald old men who enjoy watching her more than appreciating her art that is fallen on hard times???
